Today we will see how badly the Supreme Court has been damaged

I see today's decision on Rumpty's tax returns as a good indicator how badly Republicans have managed to damage the Supreme Court with their less than stellar appointments. Conservative appointees to the Court are supposedly opposed to legislating from the bench.
If that is true, then I don't see why they even agreed to hear the case.

Perhaps the recent news about the Chief Justice being hospitalized for a head injury is just a set up Rump/Barr's plan to ignore today's decision?

1. Even if they vote making him turn over his taxes on both cases

He'll try something else, ignoring the court, or handing over doctored tax returns. I doubt this will end today . Trump will be even more corrupt if they protect this criminal. Either way trump will still try to hurt them one way or another, even with suggestive threats. He likes doing that to people to intimidate them .

2. The Ruling will be to push the decision until after fall which favors Trump.

I think all they want to do is play the class envy ticket.  "Look at all the money he made. He didn't pay his fair share. "
