Bernie's ideologues are crying the blues

Bernie world descends into disarray

https://www.politico.com/news/2020/05/15/bernie-sanders-base-in-disarray-259514

What are they crying about? Perhaps they should STOP being elitist crybabies and just support the defeat of Donald Trump. Then we can sort out the differences in allied political partners.

Thousands of his former volunteers publicly warned him that their organizing networks are on the verge of falling apart since he dropped out of the presidential race five weeks ago. Ex-aides fear that the precious data they collected on his supporters, which could be used to elect progressive candidates and oust President Donald Trump, is going to waste.

Many of Sanders’ allies were demoralized by what they saw as Our Revolution failing to live up to its potential after his first presidential run. Now, in the wake of a second unsuccessful campaign, some fear they’re witnessing a repeat of the 2016 wreck unfold in real time.

There is already discord over new organizations that have sprouted since Sanders dropped out last month. Several progressives are incensed over a super PAC that longtime Sanders adviser Jeff Weaver created to help elect presumptive Democratic nominee Joe Biden, seeing it as a betrayal of the Vermont senator's opposition to big-money groups.

I always said many of Bernie’s supporters were elitist snobs who really don’t care much about the utter damage Trump has done to the poor, middle-class Americans and the world. Such as when he cut food stamps, attempted to destroy Obamacare, section 8, ruin the environment, ignore global warming, stack the SCOTUS with right-wingers, cut SS, Medicare, Medicaid, and cut taxes on the rich, and be responsible for thousands of American dead in his despicable COVID 19 response.

THIS IS A MATTER OF LIFE AND DEATH...and their bickering over a lost cause!

These things above neither Biden, Hillary nor Obama, or the average liberal Dem WOULD EVER DO. But many of them have a rigid, doctrine attitude like a Communist Bolshevik and always harm the poor when they end up helping to elect radical right-wingers just because their precious ideologue didn’t win.

Join the Biden Train and defeat this generational evil in Donald Trump and stop worrying about dogma and rigid doctrine.

WAKE-UP!

2. Only To Be Expected, Sir

The cold fact is that 'Bernie' is and always has been only about 'Bernie' --- about his dream of being the charismatic leader who moves the white working class to left revolution. He has never had, and does not have now, the slightest interest in building a progressive movement that is not about 'Bernie'. He does not want to groom successors, he does not want to establish an institution that will outlast him. Now that his last run has failed, his motto is that of Louis XV: "Aspre moi, les deluge."

Quote
There are two possible interpretations: "After my reign, the nation will be plunged into chaos and destruction”; or "After me, let the deluge come", meaning that he does not care what happens after his death.

Karl Marx wrote in Das Kapital (Vol. 1, Part III, Chapter Ten, Section 5) "Après moi, le déluge! is the watchword of every capitalist and of every capitalist nation. Hence Capital is reckless of the health or length of life of the labourer, unless under compulsion from society."

9. Trop vite pour moi

Mais le monsieur n'a jamais prétendu être un vrai francophone, et ce qu'il voulait comminiquer est toute à fait valide.

Au moins, il a fait l'éffort, il faut lui donner ça!

*Too fast for me

But the gentleman never claimed to be a true French speaker, and what he wanted to communicate is completely valid.

At least he made the effort, you have to give him that!

3. "Perhaps they should STOP being elitist crybabies"

Well this certainly won't alienate people our party might need to help organize and defeat Trump.

5. Oh, for ****'s sake. If Trump himself doesn't sufficiently alienate them, they

were never going to be any help to begin with.

Can't believe taking one's ball and flouncing off is still considered an option by these people.

7. Many of Bernie's supporters are stone cold Communists

Real ones, the kind that have read Marx, (   :rotf:    )took it seriously and work in that direction. Which includes allowing and helping maximum pain to the oppressed to convince the oppressed to join them. This is classic Marx which Lenin and Trotsky went all in on during the Russian Revolution.

If you hang out in their circles (a few open Facebook groups will do) you will see and hear this discussion pretty quickly.

So, to the OP, yes, many hardcore Bernie or Bust supporters specifically and consciously, want maximum Trump damage. the more pain, death, and damage Trump causes, the better their position is, they think. They believe hastening the Capitalist collapse of America will speed up the "revolution" that comes after. This "revolution", they naively think, will be theirs to fully control.

They forget their own history. And clearly have no understanding of American history or culture.

11. Denmark socialists?

What you say is really pretty messed up and I suspected it with some of those Bolsheviks, rigid, Taliban of politics so-called “progressives” who must understand communism failed and the greatest communist country ever, Red China, is as capitalist as America.

Of course, they’ll say their Denmark socialists.

12. The srtrictest ideologues were never interested in a dialogue

You might as well spend your effort trying to convert a MAGA hat.

However, I think a vast majority of them, no matter how disappointed, are open for a dialogue. Of the ones open for a dialogue, I think a vast majority of THEM are open for a compromise, and understand that they are welcome--even invited-- to contribute, even if they don't get to control the message. No sense in kicking someone out the door BEFORE listening to what they have to say, right?

15. They are elitists!

What the Bernie bros don’t understand, and its not nuclear physics, is that its all about what we do in a civilization of advanced science and “progress” for each other to advance the elimination of human suffering.

Our European brothers and sisters understand this but not the GOP centered philosophy of selfishness and ignorance.

These so-called progressives who claim to operate on Love in-fact are operating on attachment to dogma, not love.

Any psychologist worth his or her salt can understand that and communicate that to them intellectually that they defeat their own purpose when they, for example, waste their vote for a Jill Stein, a millionaire btw, or a Ralph Nadir, also a millionaire.

They are elitists!

They don’t know ONE PERSON on food stamps. Or section 8.

They don’t know ONE person on SS.

They live in their private egos

Well, I ain't going to argue with this:

I always said many of Bernie’s supporters were elitist snobs.....

This is why they deserved to lose, this is why I for one was joyously gleeful when they did lose, and I hope to God they never win until they learn one of the elementary rules of life: "to be a winner, one must first learn to be a good loser."

What I find interesting is that I've only truly studied the Bernie bros for the last year and even I have figured out what motivates them; something the primitives who claim some kindred spirits with the bros seemingly can't grasp. Then again, no one ever accurately made the case that the primitives were very intelligent.

Then we can sort out the differences in allied political partners.

There's the rub. From their POV, you forget about "sorting out the differences" as soon as you use them for their votes. But that's pretty much the story of how the Dems treat all the minority groups they keep under their thumb. They've made it clear they're fed up with your lies.

But see primitives, here I am spelling it out for you, and you still won't accept it.

Oh, there's more to it than just that, but until you can demonstrate the ability to take baby steps, there's no reason for me to continue.
