He was downright abusive to the Asian reporter and the reporter from CNN.

She asked Trump a, "Have you stopped beating your wife?" grade snark and Trump told her she should be asking China, not him. His answer was actually reasonably mild, but then she started yelling at him. Maybe she thought that being ethnic Chinese would shield her from a strong response, but Trump didn't play that identity politics game. She got less than she deserved.

That part looks like she must have planned to do that at some point no matter what. She was holding the mask to her face as it was, with the top band not behind her head.

I did not notice that at the time but you are correct. This was all staged to elicit a reaction, I would eliminate her pass and give it to that cute OANN reporter.

This WashEx article has video embedded, though the camera is only on Trump, not showing Weijia Jiang. "Yelling" may have been an overstatement on my part (though the article I saw yesterday but could not find today said "screamed" - my failure to be skeptical). On the other hand, Trump's voice volume level and stress level did not significantly change during the entire exchange and repeated interruptions by Jiang.

We no longer have media in this country. We have agenda driven journalism. The handling of this pandemic has been completely shameful. The media wants everyone to live in fear, and they want everyone to blame Donald Trump for what happened. Any questioning of the origin of the virus from China or questioning of the WHO and their handling of the beginnings of the pandemic are viewed as racist.

Yes, specifically the question was something like "why do you make the number of tests a global competition?" (to which one ought to reply, "why do you make the number of deaths a global competition?).

what a short term memory they have when just 2 months ago they were constantly harping on the President about why there isn't more testing taking place. Now they are upset that we are doing far better that the rest of world in testing and that the President isn't shy in letting them know it.
