11. If they die, yes. If they are incapacitated, it gets murky

Invoking the 25th amendment would require a majority of the cabinet to agree. Its doubtful they would just hand the presidency to Pelosi. You could have a scenario with a comatose president and VP, and the cabinet refusing to certify that they are unable to discharge their duties.

How sweet is that? I do believe he serves at the pleasure of the President and the Constitution is quite clear on the succession order.

And then she replaces the cabinet so, in case Trump survives and returns to office, they'll be ready to pull the 25th amendment on his ass!

I've been playing President Pelosi scenarios in my head all evening. It's been fun.

Not so fast, hot-rod, even in the ridiculously-far-fetched case of her becoming temporary President, all of those appointments still require the advice and consent of the Senate.
