If a "pResident" set out to deliberately destroy the country ...
If a “pResident” set out to deliberately destroy the country, he would consistently place the most incompetent and ineffective people in positions where they would – through their own ineptitude, coupled with a corrupt desire for power – disable, incapacitate, and ultimately tear down whatever part of government they oversaw.
And one cannot imagine any political appointments that could possibly be worse than those this “pResident” has made.
From Education to HUD, from Transport to the EPA, there isn’t a single person Trump has chosen that isn’t uniquely unqualified for the job – and anyone who has shown any sign of taking their job seriously has been quickly removed, to be replaced by someone who very clearly won’t make that same mistake.
If anyone ever doubted that Trump isn’t – with malice aforethought – deliberately putting the most incompetent people in charge of things that require competence, experience, and expertise, placing Mike Pence in charge of the nation’s coronavirus response should end all doubt.
Combating a potential pandemic requires the recognition of science – and yet that effort is now being spearheaded by a man who thinks science is equivalent to witchcraft, and believes that dinosaurs and humans happily coexisted once-upon-a-time.
Of course, we should have seen this coming – and those among us with functioning brains did – because if a “pResident” set out to deliberately destroy the country, he would consistently place the most incompetent and ineffective people in positions where they would disable, incapacitate, and ultimately tear down whatever part of government they oversaw.

The left's new talking points (although it's the same shit as ever) Trump doesn't know what he is doing!
Leftists go out of their way to panic the population about everything in an effort to destroy the economy in order to gain votes.

"Taking their job seriously" is another way to say "letting the entrenched bureaucracy do what it wants". Trump was not elected for that reason and if a member of the executive branch does not understand that, then they need to go.

SecEd DeVos has been involved in education for decades, just for schools and methodologies of which Proggies knee-jerkingly hate (under union tutelage). She also has a degree in business economics and grew up in and married into families of entrepreneurs.
SecHUD Carson, besides being a leading neurosurgeon at Johns Hopkins was also the hospital's Director of pediatric Neurosurgery for 19 years (i.e. administrative). His experience in public housing was during his childhood.
SecTrans Chao has a BA in Economics and an MBA from Harvard. For several years she worked in banking, with an international focus. And then she worked in the Transportation Department under Reagan and GHWB and was Chair of the Federal Maritime Commission. She was President and CEO of United Way during 4 of Clinton's years, and then was SecLabor for all 8 years of GWB's Administration. During Obama's years she served on various corporate and non-profits' boards, among other things. She shines a glaring spotlight on NanceGreggs' ignorance.
SecInt Bernhardt has a law degree and has practiced law. He worked in several roles in Interior in the second half of GWB's second term. He returned to law practice, representing what Proggies would consider the "wrong" sort of clients (including San Joaquin Valley farmers trying to get back their water). He's highly qualified, just in ways Proggies hate.

There is a simple answer to the DUchebag's question, a president would have done exactly what Obama did.
