According to CNN, memes have become "weaponized" and now the "Meme Wars" represent an existential threat to our society. Ironically, their panicked reactions to the memes are even more hilarious than the memes themselves.

Yeah, the Meme Wars. I was there, kid. I don't wanna talk about it. But there is this one song us vets like...
Roland was a Meme Lord
And a Libertarian
With his Photoshop and stock pics
Posting to be done
The deal was made on Facebook
On a dark and stormy day
So he set up his old laptop
To join the bloody fray
-choke- -sniff- That's all I can take for now, kid. You wouldn't understand.

If memes are weaponized and an existential threat to society, then I'm a walking atom bomb.

But kpete is still a dud.

Begun, the meme wars have.

Begun, the meme wars have.
Shades of blue oyster cult!
You see me now, a veteran of a thousand memic wars
I've been living on the edge so long
Where the winds of limbo roar
And I'm young enough to look at
And far too old to see
All the scars are on the inside
I'm not sure if there's anything left of me
Don't let these shakes go on
It's time we had a break from it
It's time we had some leave
We've been living in the flames
We've been eating up our brains
Oh, please, don't let these shakes go on
