...you know and I both know it's just going to be an hour long tirade against Democrats...

…trump doesn't care about the State of the Union...he only cares about the State of the Trump...

...he doesn't give a rat's ass about our country, if he did, he wouldn't have ****ed it up so much...

I just saw an interesting argument that 4 senators that are running for president shouldn't be allowed to vote for the impeachment of the guy they'll be running against. Conflict of interest perhaps?

SOTU:

Strong economy
Record employment
Record low unemployment (esp for minorities and women)
Wage growth
Illegal immigration way down (w/ help from Mexico)
Better trade deals with China & USMCA

Lots of things for Democrats not to applaud

Republicans won't seriously pursue that. They like to self-sabotage play the game on hard mode.

At one of his rallies, Trump should describe how great things are going, things he wants to improve, and upcoming challenges. And then send the video to every House and Senate member with the message, "This is the State of the Union. Watch it." :rotf:   :fuelfire:

All those things were done while fighting against the Democrats.

18. Be allowed?

How do you disallow something he is Constitutionally mandated to do?

 :lmao:  Thread killer.

Correct me if I'm wrong (keeping in mind I was almost wrong once back in '92), but he's constitutionally required to give a State of the Union address. The method of delivery isn't covered. IOW, he could just put it in writing and submit it. It doesn't have to be in congress, nor does it have to be televised.

He should have it delivered via Morse code or semaphore just to be dick. Or tweet it out, 280 characters at a time.

Shampeachments have consequences. But it won't be a tirade. Trump will just go through all those things Dems don't want heard, our strong economy, strengthening our military, reducing illegal border crossings, foreign policy accomplishments and progress. Because it is part of what's been happening, Trump will mention the shampeachment - in terms Dems don't want heard - but probably not for as long as 2 minutes. And Trump will speak of what his goals are, the things he wants to improve, which might include a few seconds' mention of Dem obstructionism.

IOW, Dems and their MSM shills will focus on the 3 or 4 minutes of his speech they hate, ignoring the rest of the hour-long speech.
