Do we have a defense against "swift boat/e-mails" tactics?

I haven't seen one yet. Kerry and Hillary behaved in the best ways possible. Kerry taught us that you shouldn't just ignore them. Hillary taught us that keeping your cool while not ignoring didn't work either. Biden has yet to be really hit. Wait for the senate trial. Maybe showing genuine emotion will work. Nothing else has.

What's going to become of democracy if all the opposition had to do is make up something and repeat it over and over?

You ought to know, it is a democrat / progressive tactic. Wait till our side decides to use it on the next dimocrat that gets elected.
