The most elitist, uncaring thing Bush has ever said..

"The immediate goal is to make sure there are more people on private insurance plans. I mean, people have access to health care in America. After all, you just go to an emergency room."
"The question is, will we be wise about how we pay for health care. I believe the best way to do so is to enable more people to have private insurance. And the reason I emphasize private insurance, the best health care plan -- the best health care policy is one that emphasizes private health. In other words, the opposite of that would be government control of health care"

Why? He doesn't care about anyone's health, if they do not have insurance. No caring, no understanding of the problem. Just, privatize health coverage ....sure...
What do you think is the worst, most uncaring comment?

9. I was thinking of that just yesrterday.
An elderly lady did a full-contact faceplant in the street during the Tiburon Art Festival, right in front of me.
While I was comforting her as she lay face-down in the street, that very quote sprang to mind.
And I found myself almost uncontrollably pissed off.

A caring person would have at least rolled the elderly lady over on her back making breathing easier for her.

While I was picking her pockets, stealing her jewelry and rumaging thru her purse, as she lay face-down in the street, that very quote sprang to mind.
And I found myself almost uncontrollably pissed off that she was broker than even I was..
Fixed........

You're assuming this incident, and this lady, ever existed. Remember, this is DU allstar TomInTib, by his own admission the second most decorated Seal/Ranger/Swiftboat pilot/Marine/Startrooper in history, close acquaintance of all 20th century celebrities, responsible for the security of US nuclear weapons systems, ghostwriter of nearly all Grammy-winning tunes, owner/operator of multiple fully-automatic weapons (in the state of Coliformia, no less), owner/operator of multiple exotic racecars, convicted felon, drug addict, and identity thief, all the while disguised as a minimum wage trinket clerk. His reliability has occasionally been called into question.

Either that or in his guise as an international pulmonary specialist he has invented a new breathing technique. :-)
