ABC Issues 'Cover Your Ass, Lawyer-Speak' Response To Bombshell Epstein Coverup Claims

ABC News has responded to the Veritas video, saying "at the time, not all of our reporting met our standards to air, but we have never stopped investigating the story. Ever since we've had a team on this investigation and substantial resources dedicated to it. That work has led to a two-hour documentary and a 6-part podcast that will air in the new year."
Robach added in a statement "I was caught in a private moment of frustration," and was "upset that an important interview I had conducted with Virginia Roberts didn't air because we could not obtain sufficient corroborating evidence." (Somehow the Miami Herald got the job done, however.)
O'Keefe suggests this is a 'cover your ass, lawyer-speak response.'
ABC News has no credibility.
They were quick to report on Covington Boys and Jussie Smollett.

The brother of dead disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein said he had unusual injuries on his wrists and shoulders.
Mark Epstein, 65, said there were two contusions on both of Jeffrey’s wrists, an injury to his left forearm, and muscle hemorrhaging of his left shoulder or deltoid.
“Those are unexplained. Was he handcuffed and struggled? Was someone holding his wrists? The marks on his wrist are unexplained,” he told Fox News.
Jeffrey Epstein did not kill himself.
Those injuries are not consistent with suicide.

Were they protecting some prominent (almost certainly Dem) politician? Both? And the other question is whether CBS Skews and CSN also spiked the story. I'm guessing, based on sheer cynicism, is that one or both did.

Somewhere in Robach's "private moment of frustration" she mentioned "the Palace" - intimating Queen Elizabeth.
It would appear that Prince Andrew is a bit of a pedophile and engaged in some of that activity with Epstein. When rich and powerful people squash a story, they want it DEAD.

Juliette Bryant says in her Manhattan federal court lawsuit that she was an aspiring 20-year-old model in South Africa when she was introduced to the financier.
She claims he would go on to forcibly rape her across the globe — and continued to contact her right up until his arrest in July 2019.
It gets more disturbing.

Two jail guards responsible for monitoring Jeffrey Epstein the night he killed himself were sleeping and browsing the internet instead, according to an indictment released Tuesday charging the guards with lying on prison records to cover themselves.
The grand jury indictment provides a damning glimpse of safety lapses inside a high-security unit at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in New York, where Epstein had been awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges.
The indictment, leaning in part on images from security cameras on the cell block, also contains new details reinforcing the idea that, for all the intrigue regarding Epstein and his connections to powerful people, his death was a suicide and possibly preventable.
“The defendants had a duty to ensure the safety and security of federal inmates in their care at the Metropolitan Correctional Center,” U.S. Attorney Geoffrey S. Berman said. “Instead, they repeatedly failed to conduct mandated checks on inmates, and lied on official forms to hide their dereliction.”
Instead of making required rounds every 30 minutes, guards Tova Noel and Michael Thomas sat at their desks just 15 feet from Epstein’s cell, shopped online for furniture and motorcycles, and walked around the unit’s common area, the indictment said. During one two-hour period, it said, both appeared to have been asleep.
Tova Noel and Michael Thomas were on duty when Jeffrey Epstein died. They will have to change their names and be put into witness protection.

Attorneys for Jeffrey Epstein accusers have called on the FBI to speak with disgraced British royal Prince Andrew over his years-long association with Jeffrey Epstein, which would demonstrate "justice and accountability for the victims."
Attorney Lisa Bloom told The Telegraph that while it's "great" that Prince Andrew is stepping away from his royal duties, he needs to cooperate with US investigators.
"It's great that he's stepping away from his royal duties, but it's really not about that — it's about justice and accountability for the victims, so it's important that he says he's going to cooperate with law enforcement," said Bloom.
The royal family is seedy.
"It's totally extraordinary," veteran royal watcher and Majesty magazine editor-in-chief Ingrid Seward told CBS on Thursday. "You don't expect a member of the royal family to be caught up in the life of a seedy pedophile. You just don't."
