I'm all for paying higher taxes for a Medicare for all system.
I have no problem with paying higher income taxes and/or higher sales taxes in exchange for a system where I don't have to pay a monthly premium, then a co-pay, then a deductible, and then still have additional bills. The peace of mind that we would have as Americans regarding our health care costs and the savings that it would bring would alleviate a ton of stress on all of us. If we have to cut defense spending to pay for M4A, then so be it.
We have to get over our fear of taxes. Taxes allow us to pay for things that we all need at a huge discount.
One cost. One payment. One system.

More taxes for a shitty service. Tell me DUmmie. who is going to pay for the doctors and hospitals for all this "free care"? How high are these taxes going? Will it ever stop?

The Yavin4 primitive, who has been a consistent advocate for being a mooch on society for years on Skin's island, is probably paying $100/mo now with a low deductible provided he has his insurance with a company. He wants to pays $10/m with no deductible, the rest made up by those who make more money than him. There is no personal responsibility with libs, they want a ride on those they view as having oppressed them and kept their wages low in order to benefit the rich. They want "free".
I have no particular love for wealthy people, but I don't hate them either, and this "sock it to them" mentality that is prevalent among libs is immature. I'm certainly not interested in having the gov't confiscating money from rich people or big companies for my benefit. That's not an America that's worth defending. I'll pay my own way, thank you very much. You need to do the same, libs.

Anybody who supports this BS has never had to depend on the VA, TriCare, or Medicare. Is there room for a government program to be a 'Payer of last resort' for people who have no employer or other coverage, or are uninsurable due to pre-existing conditions? Yes, probably so, but it'd end up being a true 'Last resort' and shouldn't be something more attractive than employer/commercial coverage.

Doctors are becoming a scarce commodity in my area.
NO doctors are taking new patients.
Instead we have the option of; Nurse Practitioners, Doctors who will charge $1000 to $2000 per year to see you and still bill insurance, Doctors who charge $1000 per year and send you to a "discount" lab ($30 for blood test), or other "discount" medical service that the doctor operates.
Currently my wife and I pay about $12,000 / year for Medicare and supplement coverage.
Dummies insist there is a Unicorn somewhere with lots of money to pay for all their dreams. :loser:

Not to be a stickler for details but would not first have to pay taxes in order to pay more?
Is there a DUmbass that actually pays taxes?
If so the percentage of those who do is below 3%.

Not one lefty ever has shown any intention of paying a dime for the healthcare they demand.

I'm all for paying higher taxes for a Medicare for all system.
Until those actual taxes started to hit your wallet. Then you'd be screaming like teething baby with a soiled diaper.
Just to give you and other dummies an idea....
Half, or more, of your salary goes away right off the top
Gas goes up like 400-800 percent
All goods, food included go up like 300 percent.
This is all due to the various taxes that it would cost for your free healthcare. Think I'm full of shit? Look at the taxes in Europe.
There is no free lunch dummie. The reason health insurance is thru the roof is BECAUSE of government run insurance... namely medicaid and medicare. Hospitals, etc have to at least break even. If they can't they can do one of three things:
1. Charge more
2. Cut costs
3. Go out of business
Simple as that. The piper will be paid, and paid in full or the piper will no longer be in business.

That's the beauty of single payer healthcare to the DUmmies. Somebody else pays for them.

Raising the minimum wage to $15 an hour should fix that. :whatever:

There are 10s of millions of problems with Yavin4's Medicare-for-All fantasy.
