Liberal actor Jussie Smollett is accused of staging a racist and anti-gay attack on himself, which Smollett blamed on supporters of President Donald Trump.
Smollett’s alleged fake “hate crime” appears to be the latest instance of liberals manufacturing hate crimes for attention in the Trump era.
The Daily Caller News Foundation compiled below some of the most outrageous fake hate crimes since Trump was elected, in rough chronological order:

It's possible I've missed one somewhere, but EVERY "hate crime" I've seen over the past 20 years picked up and reported by the media has later had to be retracted/covered over because it came out that the "hate crime" was a hoax purpetrated by the titular victim we're all supposed to pity.
I literally cannot think of a single instance that doesn't fit...

The entire "hate crime" thing is a huge, steaming pile of shit.
A crime is a crime. Someone's state of mind while performing the crime is irrelevant insofar as the crime itself is concerned (may be a factor in court) and in no way "qualifies" the crime as having been committed.
"Hate Crime" is a euphemism for "Thought Police."
