Anyone from the film industry reading DU? Hollywood are you listening?

Please add Ohio to your list of states you will no longer use for films.

Boycott Ohio - send Ohio a message that the reason is the new abortion law.

I am worried that Ohio will be given a pass over. Ohio needs to be included.

Gosh, I can think of no better cinematic backdrop than the streets of Dayton.

Well, maybe someone wants to film a dystopian apocalypse film in Cleveland....

Doesn't Ninga realize that WKRP hasn't been on the air in decades?

How many states are Proggies currently hating? Georgia and Alabama, obviously. Looks like Ohio is on their hate-list. Who else? How much of the US is Prog-No-Go-Zone?  :rotf:

My home town!  It has been making a comeback in the last decade or so.

Well, maybe someone wants to film a dystopian apocalypse film in Cleveland....  Detroit.

That's better!   :yahoo:

Ausonius, my hometown is Lima, OH!  Hello near neighbor.

I don't think a Hollywood film has ever been done in Ohio.  For creepy cornfields, for horror flicks, they may choose NB or KS, but never Ohio.  Funny OP.  Boycott!

Hello, Fellow Buckeye!

I know of two movies filmed here:

The Shawshank Redemption was filmed at the old prison in Mansfield, and in some of the countryside around there.

Little Man Tate (about a boy genius) was filmed in Cincinnati (taking the place of New York!) and also (I think) around Miami University in Oxford.
