If House impeached, will McConnell be forced to hold a vote on it?

Republicans forced to claim their place in history.
We probably have one Democratic Senator in a difficult position with that vote, but no more.

Put it in history. The shame of Lindsay and others for having voted to impeach Clinton over his personal sexual behavior but voting to keep an obstructing traitor (and cager of kids) in office. Make murkowski and Collins take a stand.

It had nothing to do with personal sexual behavior you DUmb asshole. He lied under oath.

Cager of kids?  Didn't realize the House was planning on impeaching President Obama.

In this space-time continuum, McConnell is likely to have an immediate vote in which DU-folks' hopes will be shot down in flames. Again.

They probably have 30 threads over there discussing impeachment.

Must REALLY suck to be them.

They're jumping the gun to assume the House will impeach.  It is not a given the Dems there will vote for it unanimously, or with enough to clinch a majority.  There are some seats that aren't deep blue, and others who are but have skeletons in their own closets or other similar reasons to leave that shit alone.

Concur. Miss Nancy is resisting voting on impeachment resolutions. She knows it could be ballot-box poison, regardless of the outcome, and evidently there are Ds who oppose both having a vote and the resolution itself. So it might not come up for a vote. If it did, there are enough Ds opposed to it and enough Never-Trumpers to make its fate uncertain. I doubt there are enough Never-Trumpers who would also vote to remove Trump for Trump to be removed, so a frivolous impeachment resolution plus a defeat in the Senate are not likely to look good to ordinary normal voting people.

The Dummies think that as soon as President Trump is impeached Hillary will ascend to the presidency.
