Title: Hello Good Bayh?
Post by: TheSarge on August 22, 2008, 05:47:12 PM
FLASH: Fri Aug 22 2008 17:52:03 ET /// KMBC's Micheal Mahoney reports a company in Kansas City, which specializes in political literature, has been printing Obama-Bayh material... MORE... Gill Studios, would not confirm information about the material. They would not deny it either. At least three sources close to the plant's operations reported the Obama-Bayh material was being produced...

printing up literature or bumper stickers is relatively cheap.  I don't remember the exact election, but
I recall some nominee printing up bogus president/vice president signs just to throw the MSM off.

It's the only pick that BHO could make that would even slightly help with the old school Dems that are thinking about voting for McCain.

Does that mean his VP pick could be even worse?  :hyper:

I think it would be funny if it really was Bayh and Obama's big VP unveiling was ruined by a printing press snitch. :-)

it may flip indiana.  but the old school dems that are thinking about voting for mccain are all disgruntled hillaryites, I thought.  is there another kind out there that I am just not thinking about right now?

in the past it has been the people that paint the airplane.  news of edwards being kerry's running mate leaked out when they had the plane repainted.  that costs serious money, and you only want to do that once.

I'm thinking that it would appeal to the Reagan Dems.  The kind that liked Zell Miller and Joe Lieberman that are pissed that the hippies have finally completely taken over the party of Roosevelt Truman and Kennedy.

I've always said that if the Dems ever wanted to run a ticket that would trounce the Republicans...they'd put up Zell Miller and Sam Nunn against any of the current crop from the GOP.

But the 60's hippies are in control and like when they took over the admin office at their college...they look at the older wiser Dems as the "enemy".

hmmm.  valid points.  it was just my thinking that the clintons were founding members of the DLC, an organization that pisses the moonbats off
to no end, and thus most of the moderate dems you are talking about are still disgruntled hillaryites.  oh, and doctrinaire feminists.  hey, politics makes for strange bedfellows. :-)

The "Dems" that hate the DLC are the Kos/DU/Huff Po crowd.

But then they hate anything that even LOOKS like "normal" America.

And I think that all the Dem candidates...even Her Thighness has proven that she's willing to ignore Bill's buddies at the DLC by skipping their convention and going over across town to hang out with Kos in Chicago.

For some reason they are convinced that the NutRoots will get them elected.

I'm not sure why they think it would be Bayh. Although anything is possible. Bayh was a rabid Hillary supporter and opened doors in Indiana for Hillary, such as speaking engagements, he did not do anything for Dingooo in this way. He was with her to the end and only went with Obama reluctantly. As far as escorting Odingdong around the state at time, it is his job as ranking Dem Senator to do this. Bayh is DLC all the way and has voted Conservative 90% of the time and McCain would use it like a match on dry kindling. Like I said before, anything is possible. Dingooo has used Hillary's war vote to attract

They need him for that very fact.  Bayh keeps the Democrats at home in the party instead of rushing to vote Republican like they did in 1980.

They are going to need someone to appeal to the older more conservative Dems as a counterbalance to the radical Liberal Socialist at the top of their ticket.

DU/Kos/Huff Po alone won't get Brock elected.

I dont know a thing about Bayh, but there are bumper stickers with Obama/Bayh on them... could be a big fake out, but Obama made 43 gaggillion dollars this month, so he had to burn it somewhere..

Since Obama is the Messiah, he should make either God or Satan his Veep, depending on the paternity tests.

U.S. Secret Service on Way to Biden's House (http://blogs.abcnews.com/politicalpunch/2008/08/us-secret-servi.html)
Quote
The United States Secret Service has dispatched a protective detail to assume the immediate protection of Sen. Joseph Biden, D-Del., a source tells ABC News, indicating in all likelihood that Biden has been officially notified that Sen. Barack Obama, D-Illinois, has selected him to be his running mate.

Looks like Obama wanted to shore up the gun-grabbing pompus jackass vote.

I know this is so....yesterday, but if McCain chooses a woman for his VP, he will have no problem getting most of the PUMA vote, at least 50%. If McCain should choose a Black woman, Obama will be calling a presser early in the night to concede.

I dont know where I saw it.. but there was a rumor that McCain was looking at Colin Powell... people would fall all over themselves to vote for that ticket. Experience, maturity, military service out the wazoo.. and, about the only thing that would trump a black woman would be a black man :-)

I may be in the minority here, but I find the idea of trying to out-pander the democrats distasteful and embarrassing.  As much as I am glad for Rice's steadfastness as Secretary of State, nominating her because of her gender or race would be wrong.  That's Democrat territory, and look where it got them.  Their candidate field looked like a three-ring circus, and their nominee is a clueless neophyte.
