My wife and I had dinner last night with John Hickenlooper...
He is a very compelling prospective candidate with a strong record of accomplishments in Colorado. Somewhat policy wonkish, but he's able to discuss issues (college tuition, health care, clean energy, broadband) in terms of impacting "real people".

When I saw the title of your thread, I knew it immediately.
I knew it, I knew it, I knew it.
It could not possibly be anybody but the brooklynite primitive.
However, I should caution; while nearly all the primitives are frauds, shams, fakes, counterfeits, buncombe artists, nothing what they allege themselves to be, the brooklynite primitive's the real thing, he is who he says he is.
It's to the misfortune of the primitives that they scorn him, preferring instead to pay attention to loud-mouthed nobodies.

brooklynite seems not to be insane like the average DUpipo. He posts facts DUpipo don't want to hear or be heard, and he thinks beyond stage 1 when a DUpipo posts a truly stupid "brilliant" idea. So he is not loved. "Shoot the messenger" is almost codified in DU TOS.

In real life, yes.
The primitives don't like him though because he's always telling them things they need to hear, but don't want to.

I think Hickenlooper wants a lot more out of "brooklynite" than just a dinner - this guy is a BIG Dem donor.

His most well- known "Accomplishment" I can recall was what a gutless coward he was toward the lawless savages of 'Recreate '68' back in 2008 when the DNC was held there. Said gutless response earned him the nickname "Mayor Chickenpooper."
