Oh no. Oh shit.
my X just informed me that my 15 year old son is watching Ben Shapiro and Fox News.
his is at the dangerous age where he doesn't put much value in what his parents say.
he is a thoughtful caring person but i'm concerned he is vulnerable to the methodical and powerful Fox lie machine that sucks people in.
i'm concerned this is not something I can lecture him about or he'll run in the opposite direction.

8. Get him to do something other than listening to hate radio
You can start by parental locking the Faux channels and firewalling your Internet and blacklisting every right-wing source.
You can tell your son that there are better things to do in his life than to listen to bullshit. At 15, I was playing Sierra Online games... You remember those.. Leisure Suit Larry, Kings Quest, Police Quest, Space Quest, etc.
They are still playable in many retro sites.

Also might want to restrict his Youtube stuff.

Notice none of them, even the OP DUmpass, have floated the idea of sitting down with the kid to actually try to actually engage him and the opposing ideals. The knee-jerk is always the same: CENSOR! BLOCK IT! CUT HIM OFF FROM ALL OPPOSING VIEWS SO HE CAN'T SEE THEM!
The one DUmpass is right though: start telling a 15 year old he can't participate in something and guess what? He just went from a level 1 to a level 5 opponent.
That's the problem DUmpasses and dimocrats in general have: they can't justify their stance on anything by being intellectually honest. Practically everything they promote is based on deception, and it's out of necessity. That ideology can't survive under scrutiny

I like the one who said "Ask him why", like that's going to change his resolve. What's going to happen when your son starts hitting you with "taxation is theft" and "voting for welfare is equivalent to asking the bully on the corner to mug someone for you" thoughts? How are you going to convince him those ideas are wrong? Robin Hood? He'll reply, "Robin Hood stole from the gov't to give back to the people who were suffering under excessive taxes". Christian charity? He'll reply, "Christ told us to take care of each other, not to require everyone to give money to a bully to take care of everyone".

You ignorant piker. LSL was mastered before "online" existed outside Darpa. We had to sector hack diskettes to make a copy
and it ran locally under DOS only. LSL helped me master my after-work activities. But yes, following Larry would be miles
