does "experimental" mean "military"?

does "experimental" mean "military"?
It usually means a private kit plane or a homebuilt which are all "Experimental" due to type certification rules, not an X-plane. But it's possible.

Nah think more like John Denver kind of experimental. Not Area 51.

thanks for straightening me out. groom lake is the first thing I though of, given it's relative proximity to las vegas. now I just suspect that robjohnson has a new hobby.

Nah the Groom Lake stuff...to my knowledge...doesn't fly over Vegas...certainly not in broad daylight...for obvious reasons.

Nah I got better stuff to beat you up about WE. Like whether a dead armed pitcher can REALLY help you win the NL West or just how many games Southern Miss is gonna lose this year. :-)

This looks more like the plane in question than the big red "X" of death posted earlier.

everybody is a pretty good pitcher at dodger stadium . . . and I actually saw one of my fellow alumni post on a sports board that he didn't care if we lost 7 games, that losing 49-42 (coach larry fedora's new spread offense) would be more exciting than winning 10-7 (former coach jeff bower's "run 46-gap 35 times a game, and hope the defense or the special teams scores a touchdown" philosphy). I am sure he has been hooted off the board by now. :-)
