One part of our Constitution that has become obsolete
It is the "impeachment clause".
Will we ever see a president impeached again?
If Congress cannot impeach and convict under the present circumstances, will it ever happen again?
Republicans point to the Bill Clinton impeachment as the model that proves impeachment fails. But, the difference between Bill Clinton and Donald Trump is like night and day. The circumstances are not the same and should not be used for comparison.
The Executive has grown so powerful in the minds of many in the Legislature that our country has put itself into a situation where it presents a great threat to our country. The Congress needs to take back the power for the people. No one person, especially one that is mentally incapacitated, should hold so much power over our survival.

Another word salad that went nowhere.

It's not obsolete.
Let's say the Hildebeast had won the election, then all the shady stuff about her campaign and emails came to light.
She'd be impeached.
-
On the contrary, it's highly relevant. It sets the bar for impeachment and removal well above, "We hates ______, Precious!" Which is why kt hates that clause.

Maybe. But she'd never be convicted, the Senate DemonRats would nearly all refuse to convict even if they found a duffelbag full of bloody heads and video of her cutting them off.

Ah, I love the stench of liberal hatred in the morning. Smells like victory.

Well, luckily for you, kt, the Framers put a mechanism in there for you to change it, if enough people agree with you. Get crackin'

Socrates (via Plato) thought that democracy was about the stupidest idea he ever heard of and I'm beginning to agree with him.

Democracy is two wolves and a sheep deciding what's for dinner.

maybe that has something to do with the former president bragging about how he has a phone and a pen to get his way around Congress....

Racism made the impeachment clause useless during the Obama Regime. He would have been impeached convicted and removed from office if he had been white.

> our survival
Well, KinCopulate you are doing your part with your kin and counting toes and fingers as you go merrily through life.
When you get to twelve of each you can declare victory.

They made it hard for a reason, Ken****. They were smarter than you.

To be fair, so was King George, and he was batshit crazy.

Then again, it's not too hard to be smarter that Kentuck. Boxes of rocks, tree stumps and potted plants are smarter than he is and much more entertaining to be around.

No surprise...
According to the DUmmies, the entire Constitution is obsolete...

6. I'd rather see the 2nd amendment revised or removed....if you're looking for
something worthwhile to do.
At least address the open ended phrase "bear arms". WTF?
Kentuck has found an intellectual equal to spar with.
