DU DOWNTIME 11/5/18 Appx 2:30 ET
Democratic Underground had a brief period of downtime from approximately 2:00 to 2:30 pm today. This was due to an error caused by our hosting company during an upgrade.
We have fixed the problem, and are now double-checking our servers to make sure everything is ok.
In case it isn't clear: The site was NOT hacked. This was a totally innocent glitch.

Had one of those gold stars over at the DUmp in 2004. The site was only open to donors or those with the gold star. And it was slow as molasses.
