My friend's son just flew to Atlanta & Ivanka was on his plane. In Row 30. Coach.

I just thought that was very odd.
Although she did have Sec Svc with her.
ETA: Since theres so much doubt, I've seen 2 pictures and its her. I would post 1 but I dont know how to post a pic thats not from a link. I'll do it if someone tell me how!

I can't imagine they'd stick her on a commercial plane in coach. Makes zero sense.

16. She's a 'government' employee. My guess is that she probably didn't pay for the ticket at all.
The Government paid for it. The government negotiates contracts with several major airlines for 'government employees' flying on 'official business'. Those contracts with the airlines are renegotiated every few years. When an employee needs to fly on official business they get that rate whether they book that reservation 2 months in advance or 2 hours in advance. However, only a limited number of seats on each flight are reserved on each flight at that government rate. What that number is I don't know, but I know that sometimes when I had to book a flight 'for official business' I would get a message that there are no seats available, yet if I went on line and checked seats available commercially, vs through the official government website, there would be plenty of seats available on that flight. So you would have to start the process over and request an earlier or later flight. If you still can't find one, you complete everything that you can complete and submit your travel authorization for approval, and the government travel office will eventually find you a seat on a flight and get back to you later. Often times I had to go to the airport with no assigned seat, but there would eventually be one available for me prior to boarding, which means I was probably a priority "Stand By"

30. OK everyone. I've seen the pictures. It was DEFINITELY HER.
2 pics, 1 of her walking past him and 1 with the child of the woman who sat next to him, after they deplaned.
Its HER.
I just dont know how to post a picture here that isnt linked to something. Maybe someone could tell me how and I'll retrieve the pic from my email.

Ivanka makes a point of flying coach and flying on public passenger planes. She's been doing this since Trump started campaigning. I didn't follow her before President Trump start his run for office so I don't know if this is some new behavior or not.

I'm sure there is one or more thread on DU hating on Betsy DeVos for travelling by private plane, threads that ended when it came out that it was her family's plane, on her own dime.
The one consistent standard on DU is their double-standard.

To allow him the privacy of not saying where I was flying from, I once flew back on a small 40+ seat propeller job with the actor Jon Voigt. Of course he's a conservative, so he didn't fly around in his own Lear jet and bitch about global warming. My daughter likes to stretch the truth a little bit, so I was not surprised when I got home to see she had posted on Facebook. "Hanging with Jon Voigt and his family at the airport" :) I responded, "Contrary to what you are reading, my family will not be spending next Christmas with the Voigts"

Seriously, FOUR YEARS of THIS sh*t? "Man booted off Jet Blue flight for allegedly accosting Ivanka"
A passenger on a JetBlue flight was booted off the plane after he allegedly confronted Ivanka Trump and told her that her father was “ruining the country.”
TMZ is reporting that the passenger saw Ivanka Trump and her husband Jared Kushner, and started railing against the president-elect.
“Why is she on our flight,” the man allegedly said. “She should be flying private.”
TMZ also notes that the spouse of the passenger “tweeted an hour before the plane took off, ‘Ivanka and Jared at JFK T5, flying commercial. My husband chasing them down to harass them.'”

An associate of mine shared a plane ride with our current Speaker and his wife earlier today. Chicago to D.C. Commercial. Not private, not First Class.
