Were the bombs functional?

I haven’t seen this addressed. Could the bombs work?

None of them worked, so no.

2. Yes, they were functional.

NYC Police Commissioner, O'Reilly, made note of that in his comments earlier today.

...wait for it!...

6. O'Reilly is not the name of the NYC police commissioner.

And the device that there was a picture of released does not appear be functional but appears more to look like something
someone who watches too much TV thinks a bomb should look like.

3. Bombs were not quite functional

I just read somewhere it would be difficult for those bombs to explode due to defective design.

But I must conclude the bomber is pretty stupid. Why mail the bomb because mail is examined closely, but a cheap drone could do the job more effectively.

4. Maybe they "weren't quite functional"

bc an insider (undercover?) made sure they weren't going to blow, but, let the 'proud babies'/alt-right send them anyway? If they didn't work maybe there's someone on our side in all of this?

yeah.. I am sure some undercover FBI type let them mail the bombs out after making sure they were inert...

Stuff stupid people think to justify their beliefs...

I swear, some of these people think they're living in a TV show!

Nonfunctional for multiple reasons, which largely excludes the shortcomings being a simple mistake by an amateur with real intent to do harm with the bomb.  Completely unclear on the who and why at this point.

The clock was functional, but that's about it.

The 'ISIS' flag sticker is actually this thing;

Something smells really bad about this whole deal.  I hope it gets cleared up rather quickly.

$kinner may want to scrub that post before the secret service comes for another visit.

You know the bombs were of democrat origin -- they don't work and never had any intention of working.

That redneck ISIS flag is a little over the top trying to say "RIGHT WING"

The bombs expected something else to actually blow up and give them credit... Democrat bombs.

As many clues as there are this almost has to be done by a liberal.  The reason I say that is because all of the 'clues' are SO obvious, as BC pointed out. The ISIS 'flag' ...

We all know liberals think they are the smartest folks on the planet and due to that they seriously underestimate the intelligence of everyone else.  In order to compensate for that they treat everyone like a 3rd grader, hence all the 'clues'.

Still just my opinion at this point, but I think the over the top BS is a pretty strong indicator.

Virtually the entire sequence seems like some DUpippo who masturbates to anti-Trump political porn would imagine a "git er done" "alt-right" Trump supporter would threaten Democrats.

Exactly what I thought, as well.

NO. The bombs were not and this is from a person that designed one of the three major electronic blasting caps/systems, me.

Here's something to consider, DUmmies:

That guy who shot up a republican office over the weekend has caused more damage than someone who sent out over a dozen obviously fake bombs to democrat politicians. He would have done more damage if he sent those people copies of Battlefield Earth.
