Now, I absolutely do not condone any of this. Never have and never will. But, this is an interesting thread I've been watching for a couple of days. I kind of thought it might grow and I didn't want to kill it. It's kind of fizzled out, but I can't help wondering why none of the DUmmies bring up that this is exactly how they act! Sarah Sanders trying to eat. Ted Cruz trying to eat. Vigils and protests in front of people's private homes. Kavanaugh's home vandalized and they had to go into hiding. This list is very long.

1st Black Female Legislator in Vermont Resigns after White Supremacist Threats.
BENNINGTON, Vt. (AP) — Voters in this very liberal, very white state made Kiah Morris a pioneer when in 2014 they elected her as its first black female legislator. Two years later, another Vermont surfaced: racist threats that eventually forced her to leave office in fear and frustration.
After she won the Democratic primary for re-election to the state legislature in 2016, someone tweeted a cartoon caricature of a black person at her, along with a vulgar phrase rendered in ebonics. The tweeter threatened to come to rallies and stalk her, Morris said. She won a protective order against him but once that expired, the harassment continued, she said.
The harassment escalated into a break-in while the family was home, vandalism and death threats seen by her young son. Even after she announced she wouldn’t seek re-election, despite running unopposed, a group of youths pounded on her windows and doors at night, forcing her and her husband, convalescing after heart surgery, to leave town.
Finally, in late September, she resigned.
“There’s obviously online harassment that can happen, and that’s a part of our social media world right now, but then when things started happening in everyday life, that’s when it becomes really worrisome and terrifying,” she said in a recent interview with The Associated Press.

I was just pointing out that the State has a strong conservative (the traditional type) presence.
I'm pretty sure the RW violence is a new thing, and yes, law enforcement should take them down.
Well, they're fed up with sitting on the sidelines while the leftists run roughshod over the rest of the population.

You're damned right it shouldn't be allowed to happen. And I don't think the kindness of the right is going to last much longer. If the left would pull back you would have NO violence or scenes made in restaurants.

In this context, I don't care about her politics. I wish she'd in-your-faced the thugs by running again.
I'm sure there's lots to the situation I don't know about, but I do think that city police chief or county sheriff has a lot of 'splainin' to do.

Big deal. In my first 25 years in VT from the early 80's until I came home many of these Dindoos would proposition
studs like me for a quick dollar. Yes, I did not give in yet I saw the filth and despot democrat scum taking the state over.
Vermont was (and is in small quarters) a good land but it is copulated beyond recognition now, RIP.
If the democrat scum want a war for America, let's get it started. The taste of the last shots fired at me have diminished and I have reloaded 1000x for the next.

Since this, apparently, has gone on for several years, it sounds more like some local bullies have latched onto her rather than a fake hate crime. Fake hate crimes tend to be a few splashy whatevers in a brief time period. Like that self-mutilating lesbian in Lincoln, NE.
