I'm just saying... for this major mid-term election, I hope DU stays online!
It was awful Nov. 2016 when DU was hacked. The HORRIBLE election results and we could not connect with each other. It was not good.
May all go well this election. We will have a lot to talk about.
Here's to DU staying online.

I have mixed feelings about this.
On one hand, it's likely to be a joy watching the primitives share their misery, but then on the other hand, it's not healthy for them, psychologically or socially, to be so wrapped up in a single message board and all its cyberpeople, that they ignore the real world around them.
And the emotional and social well-being of the primitives has always been of great concern to me.
For the record, in case anyone's forgotten, election night 2016 conservativecave was having problems, taking an eternity to load those times it'd load (and it wouldn't load all the time), and so I didn't even bother. (miskie later took care of the problem.)
I lived. I'm sure the primitives could too.

As do I! I'm not often online in evenings, but I'm hoping for some prime entertainment the morning of the 8th! And since DUpipo are likely to be as ungracious in victory as in defeat, that's all but guaranteed.

Don't worry. Trump has assurances from his buddy Putin that they won't touch DU this election. He was able to convince Vlad it will be far more entertaining to watch the comedy gold produced by the DUmmy meltdowns as the election results come in than it would be to shut them down again.

Personally, I'm not anticipating the huge upset that everyone else is though. My personal guess is that after this election, the lay of the land will be very close to what we see right now. My hope is the house holds where it stands, and the senate picks up one or 2 Republicans... again, I'm not holding my breath though. I know better than to underestimate the stupid level of American voters
