I looked up every judge on my ballot
I voted NO on every damn one of them that was appointed by a republican. It was worth the effort.
Normally I only vote no if they've had suspect rulings etc. Not this time or ever again.

If it is an appointed judge why is he/she on a ballot?
What states have appointed judges that must then run for reelection?

LOL, that's what I was thinking.
I look them up to see if I can find which party they belong to, NO on any D.

California, for one. Two or three supreme court judges, including Rose Bird, were voted out in the 1980s. That judge in Palo Alto who gave the insanely lenient sentence in a rape case was voted out in 2016. It's very uncommon or rare, but it does happen in egregious cases (Rose Bird and her court overturned death sentences for frivolous pretexts).

My ass. You vote for whoever has a D after their name. The appearance of open-mindedness isn't what it appears.

The only time their minds were open was when they emptied their brains into the Insinkerator.
