A newly released police video shows Oakland County, Michigan judicial candidate Julie McDonald asking for special treatment from a police officer who had just arrested her for driving while intoxicated.

Video from inside the car then shows McDonald talking to the officer about how she’s running for public office and that being arrested for drunk driving would harm her prospects of being elected.

“I’m running for an office right now,” she said. “This will f*ck me up really bad.”

“There’s not a lot of discretion I have with something like this,” the officer replied.

Uhm ... I wonder if she was trying to flee the scene? Or maybe she was on her way to commit burglary? Who knows, but the DUmmies don't like it. She should pay the price by not getting elected.

No, I think I wasn't clear. They're delighted it's a Republican. It's just interesting to watch them pile on so quickly ...

Remember, I'm in Texas. Beto has this record along with trying to flee AND he is a convicted burglar. They all LOVE Beto!!

I'm with you, this lady doesn't deserve to sit as a judge.

Interestingly enough, what you pointed out about the headline calling her an 'R', the DUmmies say it took them 10 paragraphs to figure out. It was HIDDEN!!! LOL
