Why The **** Do Vets Still Support This Stupid Racist **** And The GOP? Really Pisses Me Off.
When anyone comments about my service in Vietnam I sometimes say I did not volunteer but I went anyway. Being a draftee you had that choice or refusal and jail or Canada. I never considered the last two options. Not even for one second. And I was drafted with a trick right shoulder that had been dislocated 3 times and high blood pressure that I did not discover until I was 30.
I will never understand why these veterans organizations still support the GOP and POS like Trump. The GOP has never really helped veterans or supported any of the programs to help vets. They also have pretty much sabotaged the VA and want to turn our wound warriors over to the private insurance companies. They even want to let companies refuse care for pre existing conditions. So 100% of our wounded and sick veterans could be turned down for medical help if the GOP has its way.
So where the hell is the public on veterans matters. The GOP's screwing of veterans should guarantee the loss of elections. The public does not seem to give a crap about the VA being closed, which is what will happen in the end of GOPPERS have their way.

24. According to CNN exit polls, veterans voted at a 2-1 ratio for Trump over Democratic opponent
and other polls back this up. The main reason they gave was draining the swamp, I think being easily brainwashed, not being the brightest bulb in the pack & unable to think for themselves

I wonder whether Nematode has the detached awareness to realize that LuvLoogie, Garrett78, and BigmanPigman demonstrated the answer to his exasperated rhetorical question. A large percentage of Libs and Progs despise military people and treat them accordingly, especially when in power. And many/most military people are smart enough to recognize this and respond rationally.
TMN served in the Army, in Vietnam, and I respect that service. But that was 5 decades ago, and TMN speaks as a career Federal Unioncrat, not as a person who much values their military service.

Yeah, we just exploited the hell out of Vietnam and Korea resources. That is why USA is the bamboo capital of the universe to this day.

Well for one thing I have never seen a group of Anti Military people made of anyone from the Right/Republican side of the spectrum. I have ever since a was about 6 years old watching tv seen many leftist and socialist and democrats protesting the military. blocking the gates of bases and physically attacking troops and veterans. Most veterans like the military are filled mostly with conservative people and they do support the military. I have also found it a rare thing that anyone that claims to have served in the Military at the DUmp is usually a ****ing liar.
