Here's What Americans Chose as Their Favorite Fast Food Restaurant

If there's one thing Americans love, it's fast food. But which of America's many fast food options do they prefer? Well according to a new survey, it's about all about the chicken.

The American Customer Satisfaction Index found that Americans favorite fast food restaurant is Chick-Fil-A for the third consecutive year. The Georgia based chicken chain received an 87 out of 100 rating for customer satisfaction, easily beating out the second place finisher Panera Bread, that only received 81. Papa John's, Pizza Hut and Subway all finished tied for third with 80 out of 100.

The ACSI uses several factors including order accuracy, food quality, cleanliness and variety and surveyed over 250,000 customers about 280 different fast food companies. The ACSI noted that Chik-Fil-A's food quality is what really made it stand out among competitors.

It should also be noted that while Papa John's, Pizza Hut and Subway all finished tied for third place at 80, the average score for fast food restaurants was also 80. So they're not all that impressive.

Longtime American favorite McDonald's scored a paltry 69 out of 100 in their rating.....

I ate at chick filet once, I didn't really like it. the bun was crappy as was the wilted leaf lettuce. The fries were ok but very few of them.
As for the others I wouldn't eat that stuff on a bet. I think that that is the problem here today with overweight and sick people it is from eating at those fast food places.

The food is heavily processed and who knows what it is made of, to keep the prices so low none of the ingredients can be very good quality and all the preservatives and flavorings can't be healthy either.

I mostly make what I eat, my only weakness is once in a while I will get a few crunchy beef tacos from taco bell or a hot dog at Costco.

Other than that the only time Igo to a fast food place is if I am on the road and need to pee.

There is an old joke about mc donalds, a Manager was being interviewed about the 50 million hamburgers sold and he was asked about how much beef was used. His reply was about 50 pounds.  :-)

But but but their boycotts are so effective!  In their delusional brains.  Speaking of which, did they run Hobby Lobby put of business yet?

The primitives must have a thing about Sundays.

A great many of their boycotts involve businesses that don't do Sundays.

I actually like the nuggets at Chick-Fil-A, and the employees there are some of the nicest and most polite that I've ever encountered. I don't eat there much because there is usually too big of a crowd.

Chick-Fil-A is great!! As for Panera Bread, it's OK but I prefer the Atlanta Bread Company which has the same theme but I just like their selections better. I like Pizza Hut better than Papa John's. And I can live with Subway if there's no other choice, but I like Firehouse Subs better.

Yeah, the Progs boycott has been so effective that Silicon Valley went from the nearest CfA being over an hour away to three stores in Silicon Valley. I think the nearest to us is 15-20 minutes away, but if everything gets worked out, in a year or two there'l be a 4th, just 5 or 10 minutes away from our home.

Pizza the Hut is OK, but not a fave. Never tried Papa John's. Subway = Gack! I'd go for Jersey Mike's before Subway, and Togo's before either of those.

They are where all the other fast food  restaurants want to be.  Multi billion dollar corporation... and I am the only guy that eats there.  Kinda like the porn industry.   :lmao:

There is a grocery chain prominent in my neck of the country that closes on Sundays.  For religious reasons.  But have never heard anyone protest that in my "purple" state.

I haven't tried a cfa yet, perhaps someday.  Not a fan of chicken.  In my opinion yard bird is just a step above possum, and I've never tried possum.  KFC is good chicken though....for chicken.

It's decent for fast food, upper echelon in my humble opinion.  But rarely eat it.  At least the option is there, except for Sundays.

I'm just a couple of miles from a dwarf house, if interested in chic fil a history, it's worth visiting and the menu isn't as limited as a modern restaurant.

Panera Bread is very anti Second Amendment, so they don't get any business from me.

Note to financial adviser: Invest in businesses DUmmies boycott.

I never had cfa but I would like to try it once. Otherwise I tend to avoid fast food. Between the cost and the calories I can pig out on healthier and cheaper options.
