Title: Jim Jordan To Run For Speaker Of The House
Post by: txradioguy on July 26, 2018, 02:03:15 PM
Congressman Jim Jordan (R-OH) is expected to announce his candidacy for Speaker Of The House this afternoon, according to The Daily Caller.

Rep. Jordan is the co-founder of the House Freedom Caucus and has been in office since 2007.

A letter from Rep. Jordan is also reportedly circulating to House members announcing his bid for speaker.

In April, Rep. Jordan’s communications director told The Daily Wire that “colleagues have approached [him] about running” and that he was “open” to it.

Rep. Jordan made headlines yesterday for introducing articles of impeachment against U.S. Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein due to his “high crimes and misdemeanors.”

Interesting. Makes me wonder if a so-called "centrist" will pop up and compete with Jordan.

I’m guessing it will end up being one of Boehmer’s hand picked lieutenants and Conservatives will be left in the lurch yet again.
