The OP is about the doc who anesthetized the soccer players and coach before bringing them out of the cave.

I posted this for the following response. The Thai people prayed for the safety of the kids, but no snark about sky gods, superstition, the Flying Spaghetti Monster, or "hope and prayers." I wonder why not.

5. I saw some interesting videos about many locals praying to the Cave Spirit.

They had ceremonies and gorgeous offerings of fresh food and flowers every day. They also apologized to Her for offending her.

They credited Her on the spiritual level for the kids coming out.

The "Cave Spirit" tried to eat the kids. Human rescuers extricated them from the cave's guts.

The Thais are what they are and there is room for learning. But DUpipo's hypocrisy is, well, predictable.
