Medical Dilemma: My cardiologist says NSAIDS are killing me. But I have severe arthritis. [View all]

The arthritis isn't going anywhere, and I have to take, at minimum, 1800 mg of ibuprofen a day to live a normal life.
I can't have opioids, thanks to the "crisis."
So what do I do? Kill my heart to live pain free? Or suffer even worse daily to live?
Thanks a lot, stupid "opioid crisis."

Naturally the DUmps first solution is weed.

The primitive's got to remember that pain teaches fortitude.
<<<knows.

They're posting like Trump has made opioids illegal and unavailable. Another total lie.

Not sure about NSAIDS but this DUmmie better make sure his Viagra is made in the USA and not Russia, after all he would not want Russia meddling in his erections.

Maybe my knowledge on this is incomplete - "I'm not a doctor, Kim!" - but the big risks I know of with Ibuprofen are that it's REALLY hard on the stomach (my cardiologist was concerned about this due to a med I take that affects blood clotting) and increased risk of stroke. So I'm a little dubious about the cardiologist's warning part of this story. Another curious aspect is that the standard prescription strength Ibuprofen tablet I know of is 800mg. So, if true, the guy is self-medicating. I also have difficulty believing the guy can't get some "opioid" on prescription. I don't use, so I'm not familiar with the hoops, but I wonder if there's some relevant fact that the DUpipo is dishonestly omitting.
As for the opioid crisis thingy, take it up with all the D Congress-Critters and such who blew the crisis whistle. In part it was a move to slander rural and "working class" Americans who dared to vote for Trump. Whether they "cried wolf" over nothing or over a wolf cub, actions have consequences.

Maybe die a slow painful death, then you get the best of both options.
-
Do we want the primitive to die quicker or live in major pain?
Boy, that is a dilemma.

About as slow as Omaha Steve dying and as painful as reading one of Nadine's or NanceGreggs posts. :lmao:

You forgot alone and unloved because they've driven their family and friends away due to puting their intolerance and hatred above relations with those close to them.

Well I guess if you really want to get down to why opioids are hard to get, you have to go to the end user. Had these people not started abusing them there would be no crisis. I guess DUmmieland needs to look in a mirror for the answer to the question.

Ibuprofen and aleve put you at risk of GI bleeds and Kidney damage, acetaminophen puts you at risk for liver failure, so yes NSAIDs can be dangerous. People seem to forget that because they can be bought over the counter. It is more difficult, thought far from impossible, to get prescriptions for long term opiate use, but many doctors are requiring patients to use a pain specialist for those prescriptions because opiate abuse is so rampant and patients doctor shop.

I want him cured for 2 days.
I want that turd burglar to be perfectly healthy.
I want him hale and harty, full of vigor and life ....
..... only to turn and see the Grim Reaper slowly floating toward him while carrying a 7-iron with which he will use to fatally throat punch the filthy primitive.
Twenty seconds of full-on get-down poop and wet your pants primal fear and terror.
