Oh my.
This is perhaps of only peripheral interest here, but I wanted to see how the cboy4 primitive was doing.
I never used to pay much attention to the cboy4 primitive, considering him a lowly unterprimitiven, and finding his politics loathsome, but when the Obamaite grazing primitive, the rich kid jgraz primitive, started pounding on him, viciously and violently pounding on him (the cboy4 primitive is a supporter of the worthier Democrat candides for president), just really ripping and tearing the poor guy apart, I developed some sympathy for the cboy4 primitive.
Anyway.

Playoff Pulse: R.I.P., NYY
By Jeff Passan, Yahoo! Sports
The New York Yankees are dead. They are not merely tapping the bucket with their tootsies, sampling the dust with their teeth, booking refundable tickets on the Stygian Ferry. They are on Line 1 with Dr. Kevorkian asking for the soonest appointment possible, please.
Do not let Sunday arouse any feelings on the contrary. Thump the Yankees did, in their old dominant fashion, dropping 15 runs on a feeble Kansas City pitching staff. It was the most hurtful sign of life, the one where the EKG jumps for a few seconds and everything looks like it’s going to be all right, only to flatline once more, and for good.
Too many factors are conspiring against the Yankees for them to continue their run of 13 consecutive postseasons, one that, coming in the American League East division, defies superlatives. Although Tampa Bay (9½ games ahead of New York) and Boston (five games up) each has its flaws, neither team goes into the last six weeks of the season with imperfections rivaling the Yankees’.
Last week, a few days before the Yanks handed out lunch boxes to fans, a man in general manager Brian Cashman’s office talked about how much he enjoyed the team’s giveaways.
“Yeah,†Cashman said, “we’ve had a lot of giveaways this year.â€

Is this true?
I haven't paid much attention to professional baseball since the Kansas City Royals tanked recently.

1. I still wouldn't count them out, but the best they can hope for is the wild card, and too many other teams are playing better than them right now.

2. Hmmm...did Johnny Damon read this article and decide to fulfill its prophecy? Bush-loving twit.
Yeah, right.
Blame the demise of America's team on George Bush.

Well, it's true the cboy4 primitive ostensibly has a sexual preference not the norm.
But hey, all sorts of people like baseball.

Well, for all we know, and I myself don't know much, about the rich kid grazing primitive, he's of the same sort of stuff the Bostonian Drunkard and the skumbag primitive are made of--you know, affluent background, trust funds, flaccid, flabby around the jowls.
And perhaps even with a sexual preference not the norm.
Ever since I noticed the rich kid grazing primitive always picking on the cboy4 primitive, I started keeping my eyes on him, but gathered only scant information (finances) before the rich kid grazing primitive considerably lessened his posting on Skins's island.
I suspect that's because I announced here the rich kid grazing primitive was worthwhile watching; I won't make that mistake again. From now on, when I'm observing a primitive, I'll keep it to myself.

I stopped watching the majors after their last strike and haven't been back. I love going to minor league games though, and one of the nice things about living the southern part of The Democratic People's Republic of Maryland is there are two minor league teams within forty-five minutes of my house.
