Title: bad news for the primitives, both Skins's and Manny's

Thanks to SVPete, who pointed this out.

Laura Ingraham thrives

Mediaite reports that Laura Ingraham maintained her ratings in her first week back from vacation following the ad boycott launched against her show prompted by that kid and the anti-gun movement. Ingraham had more viewers than Mad Lawrence O’Donnell, MSNBC’s host in the same time slot, and twice as many viewers as CNN’s entry, “CNN Tonight.”

As for sponsors, one has returned so far. Ace Hardware will resume its sponsorship. It even apologized for having pulled out, stating that it did so based on “incomplete information.” That claim seems mighty lame, but the apology should be accepted anyway.

What about the other sponsors who jumped ship? It seems that they shifted their ads to other Fox News shows, and are likely to return to Ingraham’s once this ridiculous storm dies down.

Ingraham’s strong ratings last week will likely hasten their return.

Conservatives have at least as much purchasing power as liberals, but we are less inclined to use it as an adjunct to our politics. Unless the Ingraham boycott is a one-off, and it’s not, that will have to change.

Libs & Progs have been trying the, "Boycott ________!" shtick since Rush came on the air nationally in 1988. Rush is still there, CfA customers did a successful counter-BUYcott, their Hannity boycott earlier this year rolled over and died within a week, their Laura boycott is fizzling, and I've read that MMfA is trying to rally Prog troops for Boycott Hannity 2018, Part 2.

At what point do Progs stop :banghead: , realizing that they don't have the numbers or the will to make their "Boycott ________!" shtick stick?

Parkland, Florida shooting survivor David Hogg announced Monday that he would launch another boycott sometime later this week following his successful campaign against Fox News host Laura Ingraham.

Well, :lmao: if he's dumb enough to think he succeeded with Laura Ingraham, :lmao: probably Rush, Sean, or Fox News. :rotf:

I'm curious.

How's the kid getting away not being charged with truancy?  When was the last time he was in class?

To be honest Frank, 2nd semester seniors in high school are almost expected to mail it in at this point.  By now 30 years ago right now, I was already accepted to my college of choice.  End of semester golf season was getting underway.  We played summer baseball in IA (due to farmers apparently), so still had that.

I personally was ducking class whenever possible to practice my golf game.  Other than putting in my due diligence towards editing my portion of the weekly school paper, didn't study much.

Attention Hogg is a different case altogether.  As I've posted elsewhere, he is the latest useful tool of the left.  Soon to be tossed in the ash bin of the Cindy Sheehan & Sandra Fluke variety.

Truancy laws usually apply at a certain age. After that age, they cannot get in trouble for truancy.

I always thought David Hogg answers to someone else.

Hmmm.  It appears not all publicity's on the hog's side:

Lincoln Southeast student's dream comes true; Parkland student escorts her to prom

.....She said Kashuv wore a really nice suit, rather than a tux, but "he did buy himself a new tie."

Following the Feb. 14 shooting at his Florida high school, where 17 people were killed, Kashuv received media attention for his views on gun rights. Unlike many of his classmates, Kashuv doesn't support more restrictive gun laws.....

.....Ibrahimova said she'd been following the gun debate and other students who have gotten lots of media attention.

"Their voices were really loud." She felt the media covered their perspective and what they were doing, but "not so much the conservative side."

.....She liked what Kashuv had to say and she felt "he never really had a chance to share his voice."

Ibrahimova said she thinks political views separate people.

She describes her own political views as moderate, slightly leaning conservative. But "I don't let that affect my relationship with anyone else."

Photograph of the couple at the link; they definitely don't look like primitives look.

Under 60 and not a mess?

Nope, just normal teenagers without body mutilations and artificial colors.

The Head Honchette at PP had been getting on her case on Twitter - along the lines of, "You can do better than him!" - trying to get her to back out. Kashuv has more than just Gun-Grabber orgs triggered. :cheersmate: :hi5:
