****ing health insurance premiums increased 25%.
The plan is on a fiscal year...April to May. So it is open enrollment.

25%.

Christ.

When premiums were going up astronomically a few years ago (to provide maternity coverage for single males, for instance) we were told, "Yes, but, they would be going up EVEN MORE if it weren't for St. Jughead!"

Now guess whose fault it is?

13. Holy cow...

These amounts not sustainable! I'd have to run the numbers, but the last time I looked at this, my premium costs and actual health care costs were pushing 35% of my income, if I remember correctly.

Funny how this wasn't at all a bad thing prior to January 20, 2017.

9. My last quote where I live was $36,000 per year in premiums (I declined).

$3000 a month, who do these people think I am, some Koch brother's long lost nephew?

When my mole complained about a non-subsidized $3000/month premium, I heard, "Oh, does you have a sadz?" Strange, the difference a change in administration can make.

The DUmmies could get world class healthcare in the beautiful Honduran cities of Tegucigalpa and San Pedro Sula for just pennies a day U.S.

Plus EX-PAT DUmmies from New England could leave the CITGO heating oil subsidy to others in more dire financial straits.

win-win if you ask me.

but on the bright side, sandra fluck is getting her birth control pills.....

By now I expect she is in legendary Gene Simmons or Magic Johnson territory in terms of quantity.

OhBummer!Care is the gift that just keeps on taking.

The brightest smartest people on the planet seem totally unaware that Obamacare is still in full effect and driving prices up.

It is the 'bright side.'  Do we really want her to reproduce? :whistling:

The brightest smartest people on the planet seem totally unaware and/or in denial that Obamacare is still in full effect and driving prices up.

25% doesn't say anything. This is a company insurance policy, not an Obamacare policy.

Was it $20/wk and now it's $25/wk? Was it $400/mo and now it's $500/mo? The complaint from the primitive means nothing without some specifics better than "25%".

But blaming Trump is an easy cop-out.

Company plans have to be OhBummer!Care-compliant, covering everything mandated.
