Mueller must be getting really close to Trump with this Russia investigation?
His loyalties are deeply torn.
Does he protect himself or does he protect Putin? He hates to make Putie mad but he has to protect himself above all else.
Because Mueller is so close, it serves his purpose to appear to be going against Russia's interest, such as expelling 60 diplomats from the Northwest. Then, he secretly calls Putin to let him know that he can replace those 60 diplomats anytime he wants?
Furthermore, he will make an announcement that there are plans to pull all US troops out of Syria operation. That would leave it all to Russia. That is what Russia has been looking forward to for a long time. They can re-stabilize Assad and get their foot back into the Middle East. This is a big concession for Trump. He has to be very careful not to make Putin too angry.
But it is all kabuki theater. To appear to be something it really is not. But as Mueller's investigation has gotten closer and closer to Trump, he does his damnedest to be hard on Russia.
However, it is all a game to deceive the American people.

1. First off,the so called 60 being
deported are going to be replaced by 60 new people. Secondly,the Pentagon is truly worried over Trump's running his mouth. Remember,we have working written arrangements with tons of Foreign Military Organizations,and, the Commanders sitting in the Pentagon are going to push back .
Mueller will not move on Trump until late fall or early January of 2019. We are dealing with Espionage and Treason,and with the rounding up of players involved and running them through the Court system takes time. If one remembers,once things started to pop during the Nixon Watergate,many of the Players were bankrupt in the end. Same will happen with Trump Gate.

2. I think you are correct that Mueller is waiting until after the election in November...
If necessary, and if he does not have enough for criminal conviction of Trump, he will turn it over to the Congress, with hopes that the Democrats will be in charge and will decide if an impeachment is called for? But, he would not want to hand it over to the House so long as Republicans are in charge.
It will then be a time for reckoning.

So this DUmmie is admitting that Mueller is running a purely political witch hunt, which thinking people have known since the beginning.

If Iraq was a tar baby, Syria is tar zombie mob. Only a complete idiot (McCain, Graham, or Clinton, for instance) would think after our Iraq experience that it could ever be anything more than a bleeding wound for any administration that invests in it. Trump doesn't owe anything to legacy policies, unlike DOD, and so has no stake in doubling down on stupid. Of the four major players in Syria (Us, the Russians, the Iranians, and the Syrian government) we are in the worst logistical position to support operations despite all the 'Best military in the world' horse manure. Everything we do costs ten or twenty times what it costs the opposition to counter, and all three of the other major players are lined up against whoever the Hell we think we're supporting. It doesn't take a genius to see how this is going to work out in the long run if we keep on the course we have been following.
