Why Lamb's win matters

A Democrat won in one of the most pro-Trump districts in the U.S.

He won back democrats who voted for Trump in 2016.

He won even with all that PAC money flowing in.

He won in a gerrymandered district favoring republicans.

He won even with Trump creating unnecessary tariffs to bribe voters to vote for him again via his surrogate candidate.

DUmmies are creaming their pants over this. BTW DUmmies, this district might not be there come Nov.

And the Dem ran as a Republican.

Not sure if the DUmmies are aware that this seat is only going to be good for about 6 months.  This district is going away due to redistricting.

And the Dem ran as a Republican.
He ran against Pelosi, was pro fracking, pro 2nd A and was selected by local party bosses rather than risk the chance of a DU approved candidate getting elected in the primary and getting crushed in the general.

Right now the rabid anti/never-Trumpers (are there any other kind?) are in walk on knees through glass mode, whereas most Trump voters are in shoulder-shrug mode.

All of these little elections since Trump won are pretty meaningless one-offs that have had TERRIBLE Republican candidates and very right-leaning democrats.

Lurking DUmmies: this isn't even a blue Tidybowl.
