The NRA has become toxic.
These fabulous Parkland students have started something. Any association with the NRA, whether you are a politician or corporation, leaves you tainted. The NRA, and what it does, is no longer going to be acceptable to students, young people and their families. That’s quite a big block of the population. These planned walk outs and protests in the coming months will spread the rage against this organization.

Similar to the rage against Chick-fil-A? What happened with that? Record sales DUmb ****! The NRA had nothing to do with this shooting. Always looking for a boogie man. It will back fire big time.

By students, I assume they mean liberally indoctrinated stooges speaking the party line so they can become the center of attention for something other than being a survivor.

Unfortunately they are to young and immature to realize they are being used. They are the center of attention at the moment, however it won't be long till they break out the phones and start texting, getting on social media and taking selfies and forgetting about the whole crusade. :thatsright:
They are children with no votes and no $$ to contribute to a political campaign.

Chick-Fil-A is more popular. The Parkland Massacre is due to the ineptness of Broward County Sheriff and FBI. He should of been arrested when police were called many times.

Typical liberal crap, hurting the common working people. The NRA discounts is for the NRA members not the NRA itself. The NRA gets the bulk of their money from memberships not the corporate discounts. So thanks again liberal s**theads, hurting the working man.

The NRA had nothing to do with any of the past mass shootings that the DUmmies held them personally responsible for, either, but that didn't stop the DUmmies from using them as a scapegoat.

AAA has become taxic.
All those deaths by automobiles and this organization promotes auto usage.
If liberals were logical, that also would be part of it.
.

Yes, when the NRA members find out that they aren't going to get their 5% discount at Howard Johnson's motor lodge anymore, they will abandon the NRA in droves.
I kid.
Lurking shitgibbons, more people are going to join the NRA over this, and they won't be joining for the rooty-poo discounts.

Yeppers! The CfA boycott-turned-buycott coincided with the start of significant CfA expansion into the South SF Bay Area. We went from zero locations here in Silicon Valley to 3. And they are ALWAYS busy. The Progs' boycott of Hobby Lobby didn't pan out, either, and if Ralph is an indicator, CNN's Kangaroo Town Hall is backfiring to the tune of 1000s or 10000s of new NRA members. Several businesses need to hear from NRA members as to the members' future purchase plans. I just sent this email to Hertz Car Sales:
To whom it may concern:
I am not an NRA member.
My family has bought cars from Hertz Car Sales in the past. Because of Hertz Corporation's action against millions of NRA members my family will take its business elsewhere. Hertz's political action will have business consequences, and I suspect Hertz will lose more business than it gains from this political action.

About half a dozen folks at CU joined or rejoined after I posted that same thing there. Watched Gutfeld's show last night, and one of the regular panelists said CNN p*ssed him off so much, so was he.
Toxic my ass.

I just sent this email to Hertz Car Sales:
Those companies that pulled out of NRA are going to pay for it. Just look at Target.

I went onto Enterprise Car Sales' site, but when I finally found their "Contact Us" link it took me to their dealership finder page. Don't know whether it's a website design error, or Enterprise doesn't want to receive emails at this time.
Looks like their "Community" FB page (https://www.facebook.com/pg/EnterpriseCarSales/community/?ref=page_internal) has caught some flak.

Delta’s tax break may not take flight after Georgia Senate blocks it
https://www.ajc.com/news/state--regional-govt--politics/delta-tax-break-may-not-take-flight-after-georgia-senate-blocks/C65RcCN2hiMHs7KAuudmyH/
The Georgia Senate vowed to block a lucrative tax break bill on Monday that would benefit Delta Air Lines after the Atlanta-based company severed ties with the National Rifle Association.
Lt. Gov. Casey Cagle said he would not support tax legislation that helped the airline “unless the company changes its position and fully reinstates its relationship with the NRA.” He echoed a growing number of conservatives who opposed the measure over the weekend.
There are repercussions for this. Delta could lost their tax break.

I see liberals on social media defending tax breaks for large corporations over this one! LOL!

Liberal twitter is a hoot with this one. I've been having a blast with it.
Me: "So creating a special tax cut for one specific company is now a good thing?"
Leftists: "Hell yeah! Delta has a RIGHT to that tax cut! If the state senate takes it away then that's extortion and it's illegal!!"
:rotf:

How many terrorists or mass murders have been NRA members? Most if not all have been either muslims or democrats. Maybe we need to make those groups hate / terrorist groups.
-
And none of them seem the least bit bothered that over 3,000 kids are killed texting and driving annually, and that number is growing. Not to mention some of these kids are killing others by their actions. Look at the young man in Texas who killed 13 because he was texting and driving and hit a church van.
I'm not seeing many boycotts of Apple or Samsung called for. Kids are dying or becoming instant felons. And don't even get me started about those kids sexting and ending up with child pornography on their phones. :argh:

Just for the heck of it I visited the Enterprise RAC twitter site.
They are getting KILLED -- the "anti/I am leaving you forever" tweets are about 2:1 vs. gushing libs (who can't afford to rent a car anyway).

Companies See Negative Responses to Cutting Business Ties With NRA
https://morningconsult.com/2018/02/28/firms-see-negative-responses-to-cutting-business-ties-with-nra/
After the Parkland, Fla., high school shooting, several prominent companies ended their businesses relationships with the National Rifle Association — and some are facing backlash in public opinion, according to a new poll.
A Morning Consult survey of 2,201 U.S. adults conducted Feb. 23-25 found increases in negative views of businesses that severed ties with the NRA after consumers learned of them. The poll’s margin of error is plus or minus 2 percentage points.
MetLife Inc., the insurance giant that ended a discount for NRA members last week, had a 45 percent favorable rating, compared to a 12 percent unfavorable rating, before survey participants were informed of that move. After learning of it, respondents with an unfavorable view of the company doubled to 24 percent, while its favorability rating was unchanged.
Looks like companies that ended partnership with the NRA are finding themselves in trouble.

I am now in the process of looking for another insurance company. 3 cars and 3 houses. When ready to switch I will make it completely clear to Metlife why I am leaving after 30 yrs.

Georgia lawmakers yank tax break for Delta after airline cuts ties with NRA
http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2018/03/01/georgia-lawmakers-yank-tax-break-for-delta-after-airline-cuts-ties-with-nra.html
Georgia lawmakers voted to nix a tax benefit for Atlanta-based Delta as part of a broader tax package approved Thursday, following the airline's decision to sever ties with the National Rifle Association.
The bill -- which includes a sweeping income tax cut -- cleared the state House on an overwhelming 135-24 vote, after being approved in the state Senate on a 44-10 vote. It now heads to the governor's desk.
The final version dropped an earlier amendment that would have renewed a jet fuel tax exemption worth $50 million that was taken off the books in 2015.
Good.
