Oh my.
Actually, there's a very good reason to start the convention on a holiday, but I'll let the primitives try to figure out why.

I think it's a riot that the GOP convention is beginning on Labor Day!
Labor Day! people will be at picnics, ball games, beaches, movies, or older folks watching the Jerry Lewis Telethon. But this is when McLame's convention begins. Labor Day night people are getting home from events and will they want to tune into some boring (and their convention will be boring) political convention? Lots of people will be getting their kids ready for the first day of school the next day. What a stupid day to begin a convention!

2. They have no repect for Labor.
I'm sure the day was chosen on purpose, to show disdain.
I'll let the primitives try to figure out why.

Stupid--like having the Barackstar! give his acceptance speech in Denver on Thursday night, the same night a lot of people are using for "getaway day" because they're also taking Friday off?
Okay, ya got me.

It's simple, you just have to learn to follow their logic (well, really just an algorithm that vastly overstrains the "I" in "AI"): "Obama involved=Good, GOP involved=Bad."

I'll use the universal 99.99% correct DUmp predictorator and go with the GOP convention outdraws the donks on the first day.
