My niece stumped with with a question: Why is the Republican Party allowed to even exist today?
"Aunt Judy, why is the Republican Party even allowed to exist today? Everyone I know thinks that its a racist party that only helps white males."
I'll be honest. I could not come up with an answer that justifies its existence, based upon the reality that the party is the manifestation of our country's white supremacist founding, in fact the "discovery" of the continent by white supremacist murderers and rapists, and that Europe itself oppressed the rest of the planet throughout history under a blatantly destructive Jedeo-Christian philosophy.
If anyone can come up with reasons that the Republican Party is not inherently racist, I and my niece are all ears. In fact, I will be helping her on her term theme paper on presenting why the Republican Party should not be allowed to exist.

3. I guess they don't teach the Constitution at her school....

11. Actually, they do. She's in eighth grade in middle school.
But we have a progressive school district, and teach the Constitution correctly, which is that it is supposed to change as times evolve and new issues come into play. In addition, the entire construct of the Constitution was done by 100% white men, with nearly all of them slave owners, so even if the Constitution were taught, the original intent of the document was to render privilege to white males at the expense of women an non-white individuals.

15. Wrong. California is a perfect, shining example of a Democratic Party-only state.
California is running rings around the rest of the country due to the Democratic Party's complete, absolute control of the political process. Because of "jungle primary" rules, no Republican will ever get enough votes to qualify for a general election for Governor, Lt. Governor, Attorney General, or US Senator ever again. In addition, they hold a near-supermajority in both the Senate and Assembly, and will regain it once new Democrats are voted in the place of vacated seats. In the meantime, with its fair, substantial taxation policies, burgeoning single-payer health care mandates, cutting-edge environmental policies, and most importantly, its progressive immigration policies, California will lead the way to show the rest of the country...and the planet, actually... of how, by shedding itself of the Republican Party, that we will overcome other states' white supremacist US Constitution approach and render a new global, progressive era. THIS is why my niece just got an A on her report!

18. The answer to me is obvious, the GOP is functioning as a white power party
It’s all about demographics. Where it can, the Republicans serve as the defenders of white supremacy. That’s easy to see, as it’s the party of preference in most areas of the country that are predominantly white, middle-class to under-class monocultured and rural
They maintain their power base in those areas of the country by playing on the feelings of white resentment, fear of otherness and outrage.
It’s an appeal to white supremacy, whether those white people see it or not. Dog whistles are common in that appeal. What it does is give the GOPrs a cover of plausible deniability, as most white people are reluctant to claim that they’re holding white supremacist beliefs when they actually do.
Whites who openly hold white supremacist beliefs understand that message and have adopted the Republicans as an unwilling ally, a means to an end.
As long as the Republicans continue to serve as a functionary of white supremacy while rural, middle class whites maintain a demographic advantage and that advantage is further enhance through the use of gerrymandering and the influx of mega-donors, they’re going to stick around.
However, if you want to beat them, you’re going to need to beat white supremacy as well.

I can't believe that Liberals indoctrinate their own children. Liberals are too busy killing their own children to do that.

I think when they refer to "their" children, they are talking about the little brown children they have been importing over the last 40 years.

For completeness:
I think when they refer to "their" children, they are talking about the little brown children they have been importing over the last 40 years, and the children of blacks and Hispanics they've been exploiting for the past 50 years.

Aha, that explains all the people leaving Cali. They're missìonaries spreading the gospel of Cali's fiscal restraint and socialist superiority. It's no wonder businesses are flocking to the west coast. :rotf:
