Students entering college for the first time this fall were generally born in 1990.
For these students, Sammy Davis Jr., Jim Henson, Ryan White, Stevie Ray Vaughan and Freddy Krueger have always been dead.
1 Harry Potter could be a classmate, playing on their Quidditch team.
2 Since they were in diapers, karaoke machines have been annoying people at parties.
3 They have always been looking for Carmen Sandiego.
4 GPS satellite navigation systems have always been available.
5 Coke and Pepsi have always used recycled plastic bottles.

Yeah, those make me feel old too. I knew I hit that though when I was old enough to be the mother of those graduating high school--that happened about 2 years ago :bawl: :-) I still can't fathom the idea that I could have been mother to a 20 year old right now if I'd made some errors in judgement back in the day :uhsure: :-) That's one thing about having your kids a bit older. My oldest is 10 and they go on down from there so most peeps think I'm the 32 year old range instead of almost 40. :-)

Heh, some of the "new kids" in my office are roughly the same age as my son. That's a mighty weird feeling.

The IBM Selectric III is still the best typewriter ever made and still in use. I was using one almost daily at the Warfare Center.
Amazing how most technology is because of Military applications and the military is always the last to get em.
