4. I didn't approve of the selection methodology...
...because the canister could have been "marked" in some way. If it came to down to picking a winner via a game of chance, it would have been much fairer to have the two candidates cut a deck for high card.
Just my .02.
A duel would have been more interesting! :-)

Losing Virginia Drawing Best Thing For Democrats In A Long Time
I feel sorry for the people in Virginia who will suffer, but the "loss" shows what can happen if "you" don't go vote.
Losing a tie by drawing may boost turnout more than any ad, campaign, or other device.
If you don't vote, your party can win by 10 points, and still not be in control.
Democrats need to overcome massive obstacles to take back our country from the deplorable traitors.
This is just one more reason to get off your couch.
Drive on.
Take back our government.
Don't rest until we succeed.
Start by signing up every single person you know regardless.

You can't lose a ten point lead with the loss of only one vote.
The worst you could do is tie, such as 10 D/9 R turning into 9D/9R.
Now, the DUmmy did say "and still not be in control".
If you assume , as I do, that the DUmmy simply failed to complete its statement with the words "of your faculties", then in the DUmmy's case, it is undeniably true.
Of course, that would still be true even if they won by 90 points, so there's that.

This is almost better than the Prosser/Kloppenberg Wisconsin Supreme Court election in 2011. When that poll captain saved back a whole sack of ballots for after the liberals were through cheating Kloppenberg to a 200 vote win.......and then *BOOM* "Look what I found stuffed in a broom closet! Enough REAL votes to put Judge Prosser 7000 votes ahead!"
