Walmart announced minutes ago they are going to pay a minimum of $15 an hour and provide free health insurance
to all their employees as of January 1st 2018. They believe that is the right thing to do
with the money they will save from the tRump tax scam.
It's what they have been screaming for for the last year and some... now that they get it (with Trump's help) they complain.

8. Truthfully, if Walmart gave its 2.2 Million employees every dollar of tax savings from the rate cut
Last edited Wed Dec 20, 2017, 09:36 PM - Edit history (1)
it would only amount to $1,305 annually per employee.
($20,497,000,000 Earnings before Taxes X 0.14 rate cut) / 2,200,000 employees = $1,304.35.
That's something, but not as much as I would have thought.

13. I must say these corporations are putting on quite the show. I can't wait for my job to just offer
up company wide raises. They could afford it before this tax heist having 20 million in premium. I sure ain't holding my breath because it's not going to happen. Just a show from the big boys....and the final act is coming soon and we won't hear any more about this.
:stoner:
hateful little ****s, aren't they?

This is why there is no point in trying to work with them.
Hillary ran on a $12 minimum wage and said universal health care would never, ever happen.
Now Walmart has voluntarily exceeded Hillary's wage goals and provided free insurance but they remain unhappy.
Why?
Because Trump still beat Hillary. The issue was never the issue. The power is the issue.

3. This is a naked political ploy
That might have been reasonably argued had Walmart done this BEFORE Congress voted on the tax cuts, but said now it's just an expression of impotent childish rage (which I encourage all DU-folk to keep howling!).

I think the DUmmies are beginning to realize that Trump is not an aberration but a force they will have to deal with for EIGHT very long years...

Oh no!!! Is Louise Mensch reporting that too?? Dammit. I was hoping he would make the full 20 year term we elected him to.

Right, $1,305.00 is peanuts, not even worth cashing the check. You are a real ass hole. :thatsright: :loser:

In 2027 :-)

He never took the oath so he can’t resign. Hillary has been the president in the shadows all this time.
