Every Republican who votes for the #GOPTaxBill should be asked these 5 questions by every journalist and constituent:
1. What is your net worth?
2. How much do you personally stand to gain financially from the bill?
3. Did you vote for the bill at the urging of your donors?

4. How much will the average person in your district (or State if they’re a Senator) see in temporary tax relief?
5. Will you vote to cut Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid to cure the deficits this bill creates, as Paul Ryan and others have indicated they plan to do?

The OP doesn't mean much, but I thought this little back and forth was hilarious.

9. I wonder how many actually read the thing.. 1200 pages....
They are just pushing it. They don't even know what's in it.

19. They don't know what it says. That disturbs me the most.
There is such a rush to get something passed for the orange turd that they don't care how badly we get screwed over.
All together now! You have to PASS the bill to find out what is IN the bill!! :lmao:
How do you like that one, DUmmies? Or, here's another one that is appropos;
What difference at this point, does it make?
:lmao:

What the dems passed (the ACA) was not even a real bill that spelled out what it was about. It was just a "framework" that was going to magically fix health care :jerkit:.

It's funny how whenever a tax cut is proposed, the left gets all worried about how the government won't be able to afford it, yet when government forces a tax increase on the People, you never hear that same crowd express concern about the working class being able to afford the decrease in their take home pay caused by the tax...

The simple answer to the question Ms. Reid asks Republicans is "before I answer your question ie: how much is my congressional salary, which is actually public knowledge, tell us (you untalented, dishonest media elite) what is your salary? And how much of your tax savings are you going to donate back to the federal treasury?"

A congressman makes $174000/yr + benefits.
She should know that.
