Republicans are now ready to destroy Obama's economy that trump has been bragging about for a year.
Obama saved this country from a republican DEPRESSION.

8 years under Obama on roughly 1% GDP growth per year. Never has a President had such low growth for their entire time in office. Sounds like destroying the Obama economy would be a good thing.

Just killing the Obamacare mandate is going to be huge, it frees the younger, lower end of the workforce from a financial bondage that has been crippling them.

Obama hobbled the economy with invasive regulations, and communicated clearly to business people that the Federal Government was their enemy. Trump let businesses know he was not their enemy. Trump has slashed pointless burdensome regulations and appointed sane people to agencies (MLRB, FCC) and federal courts. The economy took off, compared to Obama's doldrums. And with the possible realization to some degree of Trump's tax promise, the only thing Trump will "destroy" of Obama's economy is its malaise.

It just occurred to me that the DUmmies idea of a great economy is everybody receiving generous welfare payments.  So, using that mindset, Trump is destroying O'bongo's wonderful economy.

Bad Dog, I think, is correct.

Most people out here in the real world realize the truth of James Carville's statement ("It's the economy, stupid!"), and vote accordingly.  That 4% growth is before the tax cuts.  The growth is mainly (probably solely) from cutting all of those regulations.  DUmmies don't see the simple wisdom that Carville contained in his statement.  The rest of the world does.

It goes a little farther than that, though freezing and @#$%-canning regs is certainly YUGE. The economy started taking off after Trump's election and inauguration almost immediately. Business folk saw the regulations being cut, and they understood that the Feds were less hostile, but I think they trusted Trump to overturn/gut ObamaCare and to cut taxes. That trust is something too contrary to DU-folks' worldview for them to perceive, let alone acknowledge.

Obama thought he was using a pen, but it was really a pencil and Trump has a big eraser.  :-)

Attn Liberals: You shouldn't have hats. If you have one, consider it a bonus. If you lose it, you shouldn't have had it in the first place.

I know this is a dirty word in Dem party circles, but try hard work. It gives back so much more than just having the right to wear a hat.

I've heard the left argue that getting rid of the individual mandate will strip healthcare away from millions of people.

My question is how?

People still have the option to but healthcare, they just won't be penalized for not buying it.  Am i missing something here?

I am a little disappointed that we have to wait until 2019 to be out from under the governments jack boot mandate.

Yes. You are missing the point that democrats know what is best for people. Buying something they don't want or need is what's best for Obama's legacy.

To the limited extent they're being honest at all, they would be talking about the chronically or terminally ill, which is relatively small in number compared to the number of young people being crushed by the mandate on top of their student loans and just the huge cost of getting started with a family or independent life.  Those people do have legit need, but the few are pulling down the many and there needs to be another way to address that need more directly.

The mandate is a fine for not buying overpriced useless insurance dreamed up by a bunch of progressives for the sole purpose of draining your wealth.

They did nothing to make health care or health insurance more affordable.

First off dumbass... established facts prove that the last recession was NOT the worse since the great depression... never mind the bullshit the MSM tries to cram down our throats.  It is easy to look up so I suggest you do so.   Fact is, the 80-81 recession was way worse, I know I lived thru it, and then the economy rebounded in a big way due to Reagan and his policies.

Second off the last recession was not due to any Bush policies. It was due to lying ratings organizations that rated CDO's as safe when they were not. As a matter of fact Bush actually tried to get congress to do something about it and you libs shot him down.

Third I survived the last recession just fine, used it has a buying opportunity and now my portfolio is doing great

Fourth obumbles had THE WORST recovery of all recessions since the great depression due to his policies... that I would like to remind you mirrored FDR's to a minor extent and the end result would have been the same if Bernake would not have shoveled money into the economy at a massive rate.

Fifth I am going to point to the obumbles new normal of 2 percent growth... which were promptly shown to be completely false and entirely the result of his restrictive policies. Once President Trump took office and started rolling back his assinine policies something amazing seems to be happening: The economy is growing at 3+ percent. And no dummies... it was not due to obozo rescuing the economy. All he did was prolong the misery much like Jimmy Carter did until a real president came in and solved what ailed the economy.  Can't argue with real numbers dummies and these are real numbers.

You know all of what I just said is true and you can't stand it. Spin it all you want dummies.  More money in people's paychecks tends to make them ignore your party's gloom and doom stupidity.
