I received a call my sister, she is worried now about her Social Security and Medicare.

I told her why are you calling me for.

You voted for Trump so go suffer.

You will not be coming to live on my farm.

Go live with Trump.

I will never get someone getting benefits voting republican.

My sister, her husband, and daughter all get SS and Medicare.

Food Stamps also.

Going to get tough on them.

All my sister did was trash President Obama and Hillary Clinton.

Some times people have to learn the hard way.

Just you wait until she realizes everything you've been feeding her has been 100% unadulterated bullshit intended to play upon her emotions and that absolutely none of the nightmare scenarios you incessantly described at great length ever had any chance of becoming true.

1. This POS tax scam is going to be an epiphany for many.

Too bad they wouldn’t have listened to us.

We're still waiting for you guys to be right about one single prediction on your global warming hysteria.

24. They'll still vote for trumpf in 2020, that is if he hasn't

..been forced to resign by then,, .and they'll vote republican even though they just got ripped off by their own party. I don't know what it's going to take to open their eyes...they'll find someone else to blame , immigrants, refugees. Sorry, if I may, maybe let them move a mobile home or an RV onto your farm ..be the kind liberal that you are--after all they are familia! Paz.

3. Next time she calls

Reflect on the symmetry of the tax plan. It will cost $!50B/yr (probably more but you get the idea). The Treasury is going to need to come up with $150B/yr to retire the Trust Fund securities. Doing this keeps SS whole for another 20 years.

Money is fungible, but it helps to communicate the point. For the life of me I don't know why the Democratic party is not running ads to make this point.

Also make the point that the wealth class contributed nothing to the Social Security Trust Fund, and high income earners did very little when compared to their income. The burden was carried by the middle class workers.

I'll tell you why the Dems aren't running ads about making good on SS trust fund securities:

Because for decades they've been pillaging the account and to cover their crimes they've been running around screeching that SS is fully funded so there is no reason to reform their beloved slush fund.

8. You do not know my sister.

She was raised better.

She got into Fox news and hate radio.

I will not say what she said about democrats and President Obama.

Just lets say it was foul stuff.

She was a union member at one point.

7. Your sister is as insane as the others in the orange one's base....

I voted for Hillary. I am 76 years old. I am sick to death about my social security and Medicare. I will die w/o them. One of my medications is $500 for a 3 month supply and I am on 5 other meds. There is no way I can afford those meds on my own. I guess the orange one and the GOP would be very happy if we old ones die....sorry but I hate your sister. And don't forget the GOP agenda will be"tough" on all of us who depend on social security and Medicare to survive....and the key word here is "survive"..we don't really live.

I couldn't help but recall the ol' conservative bromide about the government that can give you everything you want being able to take away everything you need.

And because you bought into the lies and made yourself wholly dependent upon them you are now motivated to hate people you never met.

12. I hate my sister and people like her.

I so sorry about your meds.

I am not on any meds but I know a lot who are.

I have a feeling I will be adding to population on the farm before it is all over.

But not my sister.

It was really hard being around her when my mother was alive.

I warned her what would happen if Trump got in.

I hope things work out for best.

You hate her because you terrorize yourselves and everyone around you with your asinine camp fire horror stories.

Grow the hell up and argue policy based on facts, not fear.

30. She did buy into it.

She changed for the worse.

We were raised better.

We were not raised to hate people like that.

My parents were decent.

She started that crap at the funeral home at the wake for my Mother.

I told her to shut up and have some respect for our Mother.

But here you are hating your own flesh and blood because the idea of people keeping what they fairly earned means fewer unearned gifts for you.

since 4 generations of my family are die hard Dems and we bash the GOP at every special family function. It is SO nice to be able to discuss this stuff freely.

17. 10 years here.

I am SCREWED and LIVID that MY OWN FAMILY would vote for me to be UNABLE to retire or to be DESTITUTE and without healthcare if I do.

LIKE THEM, I've worked all my life, paid into SS and saved. I've done all the things I'm supposed to but I will get LESS or NOTHING -- all because assholes like my brother voted for TRUMP (he refused to vote for a woman and said so)

How dare everyone else not want to pay for you! THOSE BASTARDS!!1!

19. They will but to late.

My sister just turned into somebody I cannot be around.

I miss my parents but I glad they didn't live to see this.

My mother was so ill she needed a nursing home.

Well Hell, my SS is going up 30 bucks a  month, and the tax reform shit could hardly be better for me if I had written it myself.  Meanwhile the family moonbats are all pissing on themselves on FB over the horrible awfulness of it.  I think they just don't understand the difference between 'Awfulness' and 'AWESOMEness!'

Any ideas on how long after President Trump's tax plan goes into effect that we can start seeing these apocalyptic predictions of the masses dying, homelessness and starvation come to fruition?

Do I have time to get a haircut or should I head to he shelter now?

I think the SS increase for next year is supposed to be the largest one in several years.

DUmmies fail to realize that any changes made to social security likely wouldn't affect retirees and near retirees. The gop has been wanting to reform it for younger people so that the older ones won't be hurt. If democrats keep blocking that, then older people will get hurt .

SS should be off limits, but put SSDI and medicaid and other welfare on the chopping block first.

Pigsnot boy is about as ignorant as they come.  As the typical Dummie, they don't want to discuss things freely, they want an echo chamber.  The earth would probably stop spinning if any of them had a clear, independent, rational thought.

There is another thread over there where someone's awesome mole posted a link to a calculator to show just how bad this tax cut is going to hurt everyone, except the are all going to get to keep more of their money.  It's hilarious.

They hate this stuff because it is making Trump look like the great president he is and told them he would be.  They HATE they're going to make more because that means most people will make more, and that bodes well for 2018, 2020, and beyond!

Hell, I just sold $10k of stock that I bought in June.  I bought it at $8.65/share, bought 1,000 shares, and just sold $10k of it at $18.07/share.  Not bad for a short investment.

After the Senate votes tonight I will be logging onto Vanguard retirement and increasing my 401k withholding another 2% (15%-17%) and that will still leave more in my 2018 paycheck for me to spend elsewhere.  :yahoo:

I've wondered whose reincarnation dummy "demtexan" is - she has only been a member since this April under that name, probably a Berntard groveling back.

Spiteful old bitch, isn't she? And dumb, what a sheep:
