On the vast majority of days they will ridicule Christianity to no end, claiming it is merely a way to manipulate the weak-minded for cynical political purposes.
Then we get posts like this one and the ones where they cite Biblical scripture in an effort to guilt trip people into funding the federal government to enabling lust, sloth, inebriation, greed, and every other deadly sin.

And completely misunderstand the intention of the scripture make their extrapolation completely incorrect.

The Magi both worshipped the gave expensive gifts to the infant Jesus. His parents used those gifts to live on during their stay in Egypt thus eliminating the need to depend on Egyptian government handouts. God, it seems provided for the needs of the family while they were out of town.
So may I ask what gifts and acts of worship are the special council laying at the feet of Jesus?
