Title: Colin's New Black Panthers?
Post by: zeitgeist on December 18, 2017, 07:01:34 PM

The irony in this thread is thick, how thick you might ask?? So thick you'll need a frosting knife to spread it.

Even great minds like Stinky The Clone weigh in.

Colin Kaepernick wants to join Diddy, Steph Curry to buy the Carolina Panthers
Twenty-four hours ago, 81-year-old Jerry Richardson was the Panthers' owner and there was no reason to think that was changing anytime soon. But by Sunday evening, Richardson had announced that he would sell the team, hours after an explosive SI.com story detailing allegations of workplace misconduct and confidential payouts.

It didn't take long for potential suitors to make themselves known, starting with rapper and producer Diddy who wants to bring Colin Kaepernick back to the NFL.

"The North Carolina Panthers are up for sale. I believe it's time to turn the franchise over to new ownership," Diddy said in an Instagram post. "I need to send a message out to everybody in the beautiful state of North Carolina: I will be the best NFL owner that you can imagine. I will immediately address the Colin Kaepernick situation and put him in the running for next year's starting quarterback. It's just competition, baby! It's just competition.

"But also, I will have the best halftime show, the best selection of music and we will win [multiple Super Bowls]."

Well it would certainly fit, why couldn't he own slaves... (if you consider this).

Anthony Johnson (b. c. 1600 – d. 1670) was a black Angolan who achieved freedom in the early 17th-century Colony of Virginia after serving his term of indenture. He became a property owner, and was one of the first people in Virginia to have his right to own a slave legally recognized

But the whole kneeling thing might run contrary to this unique bit of history.  Nah.  No chance.

Crispus Attucks (c.1723—March 5, 1770) was an American stevedore and sailor, thought to be the first person killed in the Boston massacre.[2] He is widely referred to as the first American killed in the American Revolution and the first martyr to the cause of American patriotism.[3] Circumstantial evidence suggests that his father may have been Prince Yonger, an African-born slave and his mother, Nancy Peterattucks, a Natick Native American.[4]

How the heck is Colon (let alone the DUmmies) going to square this circle?  Would they rename their team "The New Black Panthers"?

Would the ACLU demand they intergrate the team according to ethnic diversity standards??

Don't know.

Offered for your convienence, edification, and enjoyment are the comments to this little ditty (or should that be C-Diddy)?

2. The Panthers have a starting quarterback already. Kaepernick is not in the same league as Cam.

Not by a long shot.

13. It's why he's not in the league.

He really isn't a good quarterback for the NFL game. Neither Robert Griffin or Tim Tebow are in the league either for the same reason.

17. Um, no. I simply quoted Diddy and said no way would Kap measure up against Cam.

Feel free to bookmark. It simply will not happen.

16. I hope they can swing it

but NFL teams are very expensive, and you can't use them to secure debt -- so you have to pay in cash.

I think it may be long past forth down for this crew.  :loser: :lmao: :loser: :rotf:

Even though they just beat my Packers, I wouldn't wish this shitshow on them.
Now , the Vikings.....

Since these guys have few clues among them about running an NFL team profitably, this could be a money pit that could absorb money they could use for worse purposes. :-)
