You ain't missing anything -- except a lot of hassle, overcrowded/overbooked flights, delays, and incredibly cramped seats.

I am glad I quit flying 10 years ago.

I still have to travel a bit for my consulting company and go to Mexico regularly to see my in-laws.

Lifetime AA Platinum status and access to the Centurion Club help a good bit.

But even a short trip is exhausting.
