If you are sexually assaulted in a massage facility - Call 911!
Yell "Stop!" at the top of your lungs. Get off the massage table, grab your clothes and leave the room. Call 911 from your cell phone. Report the assault, dress quickly, leave the facility, and meet the police officer who responds outside the door of the place. Don't leave the area until the police respond.
Take charge of your personal safety. Report crimes against your person and follow through.

Just think of all the worlds problems that could be solved if MM would marry Nadin! Or at least collaborate with her.
I'm thinking a MM/Nadin ticket for 2020. In fact, I may go get a bumper sticker for that today! Why wait, things are only going to get worse until we're told how to act/react.

I can't imagine there are many DU-folk for whom this sage advice would be meaningful. And they are probably outnumbered by those against whom the advised actions would be directed. Then there's AlGore.

Saw a story somewhere about Massage Envy clients and inappropriate groping. Can only assume that was the root of it.

Thanks. Here's an article about it. (https://www.cbsnews.com/amp/news/massage-envy-sexual-assault-allegations/) Seems like a massage session would be a "perfect" situation for predators such as alleged. Or for AlGore style predation. OTOH, Massage Envy is an apparently successful business, so that the one-on-one session format would also be "perfect" for a he-said-she-said false accusation shake-down.

My first thought when I saw this thread was that MM was referring to AlGore, but got the roles mixed up.

I'm just wondering... how many forcible rapes were done. I'm guessing none. Now if we are talking about some massage person maybe misinterpreting what the person wanted massaged? I am sure that happened. What I want to know is if the massage person stopped after being told no. Or if the massage person was even told no.
Two sides to every story and I would surmise that if forcible rape, or even going a tad too far with the massage and not stopping after being told to stop was a common place event, the massage place would go out of business real quick.
That kind of rep gets spread around real quick.
I, personally, do not think there was any systemic thing going on. Isolated incidents? Sure. Did the company cover it up if it happened? Makes sense. Were they wrong if they did? Yep. The real key here is did they take action when informed. I don't know and neither do you, dummie.
