McCain protests NBC coverage (http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0808/12594.html)
McCain's campaign manager Rick Davis asked Sunday for a meeting with Steve Capus, the president of NBC News, to protest what the campaign called signs that the network is "abandoning non-partisan coverage of the Presidential race."
In this case, the campaign is objecting to a statement by NBC's Andrea Mitchell on "Meet the Press" questioning whether McCain might have gotten a heads-up on some of the questions that were asked of Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.), who was the first candidate to be interviewed Saturday night by Pastor Rick Warren at a presidential forum on faith.
Mitchell reported that some "Obama people" were suggesting "that McCain may not have been in the cone of silence and may have had some ability to overhear what the questions were to Obama. He seemed so well prepared."
Here is the text of the letter...

Well, he should protest NBC and MSNBC, all they are there are glorified Barack Hussein Obama cheerleaders. There's no semblence of fairness at that network, and these same people that employ them constantly bitch and whine about FOX News on end.

Oh no! A Republican Presidential candidate who is no longer opposing his own party because he is now the face party is getting bad press!
:ohnoes:
McCainez is a complete and utter fool and tool. What would any reasonable person expect?
If McCainez is this stupid and naive then what is the point? Is he going to believe Putin and Mahmoud Ahmadinejad when they say they are going to play nice? Or is he just trying to score points with the base? I can understand the Democrat Party choosing an utter fool and tool because that is all they have but what was the GOP thinking when they foist this turkey upon us?
Juan McCainez Go Home! The GOP is a party crying out for leadership.
-
Why can't the Dems just accept the fact that their candidates don't sound genuine and truthful in their responses during forums like this?
NBC and Barakstars! claim that McCain cheated is no different than the hysterical handwringing and conspiracy theory launching claim that President Bush was wearing an earpiece and having his answers fed to him off stage during his debates with John Kerry.
-
About time the campaign grew a pair. Unfortunately the GOP seems to be constitutionally unable to sustain gonad development beyond the level of a single individual fighting back because his personal chitlins are on the line.

That's all fine and good and I don't disagree. The reality is that right now McCain is wha'cha got. Consider the party in foster care. It beats the alternative.
John McCain has one thing going for him that keeps me eager to see him elected. His win in November, which will happen, will be like a mini-nuclear device going off in a few million liberal brains. Yes, that makes supporting McCain worth the trouble.

Keeping a republican Presidential veto hanging over what gains the Libs make in the house and the senate is CRUCIAL.
Not to mention the upcoming SCOTUS openings.

You don't seriously expect Juan McCain to actually HOLD that veto threat over a NeoCom controlled congress, do you?

The SC Justices are certainly not a secondary consideration and I reget I left that aspect out. There are three current justices hanging on by a thread. They have all been hanging on for longer than nature should allow in the hope a liberal democrat will be elected president to pick their replacements.
I believe McCain's win in November will cause the three hangers to give up hope. None of the three can afford the luxury of another four years.

I think we will be pleasantly surprised. The democrats and their ilk are going to start up with McDS as soon as BDS is no longer viable. John McCain is a hothead at heart.
McCain is already showing signs of turning on his former "friends" (the MSM) as they show their true colors by turning on him. I do not see McCain letting the congressional democrats push him around.
Their is a big difference between being a senator and being the President. McCain knows the difference and it will show.

If he chooses Lieberman or a liberal Republican like Ridge as a running mate then what does that say about his SCOTUS choices?
Honestly, no matter who wins, it's not good.
But Juan and the GOP being so stupid as to actually believe the media would give McCainez an even break is amazingly stupid. Beyond the pale, in fact. It just shows that there is no leadership or judgment in the GOP right now and it's all just chasing after effects.
"Oh the media loved McCainez in 2000 and if he is only nominated it will be an easy ride into the White House! Conservatives just need to console themselves with slogans like I Love My Country More than I Hate Juan McCainez!"
It's like the GOP has been co-opted by "I Believe!!!!!!!!!!" DUmmies.
Well, I Believe!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!one1111!!!!!!!!!eleven:eleven!!!!!!!! that whoever does become POTUS, I will be just fine. My power doesn't derive from whoever can pander the best. Or who the media loves most. Or who has the most guilt-inducing slogans.
I guess, given the really awful, gut-wretching,vomit inducing choices, I do wish and hope that Juan wins but I'm not going to do anything to make that happen or make it easy for that to happen. Wishing and hoping is all the support this turkey deserves. And really, I if there was a way for both of them to lose, that is my real choice. So I guess that is my moronic slogan: Why can't they both lose?
Seems like the best way for my country to win.

Oops...wonder if Andrea Mitchell and teh Barakstar! campaign will issue an apology?

Whiney buncha dumbells, those weren't the kinds of questions one has to cheat to answer. McCain didn't say anything any differently than he has been saying and neither did Brock!
